We were very pleased with our chairs! They came wrapped well and protected in shipping and the instructions and contents were all intact. The assembly was easy and we are impressed with the excellent craftsmanship of the chairs, the real wood and the ease of assembling. They are sturdy and look beautiful around our dining room table even before we have stained and sealed them. I would heartily recommend these chairs.

I bought three sets of these chairs. My husband and I assembled them side by side, so they went together quickly. All were in great shape. The wood was incredibly smooth and took the stain well. They match my handmade pine farmhouse table perfectly. We sealed with a hand-rubbed oil finish, but I think an oil based polyurethane might have been a better choice. The chairs are comfortable...they are contoured to fit your back and are high enough to cradle your shoulder blades. Love them!

Didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these chairs. Easy to assemble and look beautiful with my mother's 1950's dining room table that was given to me. I wanted the right style of chair for this table and these are perfect. I painted the chairs black...they look amazing. I want to get more eventually and I am very happy with purchase.

Parts came with wood split. Was surprised to read that each part was thoroughly inspected before leaving the plant. You should be holding the Quality personnel accountable. Had to PURCHASE another box to swap out pieces. Chairs are uneven, rocks back and forth. Should come ready to stain but website suggested sanding first. They were easy to assemble although you had to figure out for yourself which way the leg support/parts needed to be installed. Applying removable stickers on these few pieces would solve that problem. For the price, they were a good deal but for the amount of work I had to perform (sanding, and going back and forth to Home Depot to swap out parts), I would not buy them again.

Nice chairs!

I bought 2 sets of these chairs because I liked the style, the solid unfinished wood (light color, fine grain wood without knots, imported so it might be parawood or rubberwood) and the price was right (sale + extra 10% off). They came well packaged, all pieces were in the box, instructions were easy as was assembly. They are level on the floor and are comfortable to sit on. They have a generously sized wood seat with some subtle contouring which boosts the comfort level considering it is hard wood. They can be stained or painted. I'm using chalk paint for the look I want.

Great quality product!

Was not expecting these chairs to be of such great quality, considering the inexpensive price, but they are solid, heavy chairs. The stain took beautifully to them as well. I am using them in my dining room after my husband built a big dining room table. These match perfectly! We bought 8 chairs in total and only two of the seats were cracked, but the Target team got me replacements immediately. They were easy to put together - about 15 minutes a chair. So very happy with my new chairs and Target's customer service!
