Not only are these baskets really aesthetically pleasing, they are so sturdy. They are woven tightly and you can just feel by the weight and how they are put together that they will last a really long time. I've never owned anything made of woven water hyacinth and now I know that if I need something strong as well as decorative, this is the way to go. Beautiful product.

These baskets arrived very well packed. Even though the baskets are sturdy and decorative, they have a really bad smell. We decided to sit them outside for a few days hoping that the smell would dissipate. Unfortunately, it didn't help. The strong pungent smell is still active. Ugh! So for now I'm just using one of larger baskets to hold some bottles of pills, because when I used the smaller basket for my washcloths; the bad smell was settling on my washcloths!! Gross!
