The upholstered leather is top grade perfection and has a faint smell of fine leather. The construction is well built and the mid century design is simple yet breathtaking. The chair arrived several days early and the delivery team was extremely professional therefore I did not hesitate to add a tip. In addition, it arrived without a scratch. The delivery team mentioned shipments from Perigold are their favorite because items always arrive undamaged. Also, one very important note...the singular photos reflect a chair that is taupe in color however the staged photos and the manufacturer's video offered by Perigold show the chair to be a medium gray tone which is the case and exactly what I wanted. And my opinion the cost of the chair is more than reasonable. If you decide to purchase I promise you will not be disappointed.
