Great product-function and beauty

I bought the Le Creuset 2.5 Qt. Heritage Sea Salt Covered Square Casserole for a bridal shower gift. It’s so beautiful and the bride-to-be loves it! It looks so pretty with the colors in their kitchen. I know the couple will use this for years to come.

Perfect size!

This dish is the perfect size for a small hot dish during the week. I can’t wait to use this for Thanksgiving dinner, it’s perfect for sides too!

Broke after a few uses

I have many pieces from Le Creuset which I use often. This was the only one that broke, while in the oven, and only after a few uses.

Expected better of Le Creuset

I have a favorite and often used Le Creuset covered baking dish that developed a crack on the inside of the dish. I wanted a replacement immediately! The same piece was no longer available so I bought the dish that looked somewhat different but had almost the exact same measurements. However, when I received it, it was totally different than my original piece. It was a little deeper but the actual bottom area was significantly smaller. There was no possible way it could replace my original dish. I was very disappointed. My baking dish is only a couple of years old and not only did it develop a crack (it was never dropped or bumped) but now I can’t even replace it. I expected better of Le Creuset.

I would buy this product again and did in a different size.

I gave this to my wife for Mother's Day and she loves it. It cooks the casseroles to perfection and is easy to clean.

Better craftsmanship

Great quality but the lid dances on top of the container and it sounds like it could brake one day

Perfect

Perfect, smaller size is nice. I ended up buying a second one in a different color. I am very pleased with them.

Broke in half third time

I love the look of this but it literally broke in half the second time I made sourdough bread in it. And it was difficult to clean (stains didn't come off easily). Do not recommend!

Heritage covered Baker

Nice covered baking dish! Love the bright colors it comes in! Lovely glossy finish.

Beautiful Sea Salt Color!

This is gorgeous. I love the Sea Salt color! I also like the square shape. Traditional European design. Very nice smaller baker, very convenient and versatile. Right away made a fish pie in mine. Lovely. I want more pieces in this color.

Love the lid

I love this baking dish. I have several nice baking dishes, but none with a nice lid like this one has. I'm looking forward to using it for many casseroles in the coming years.

The centerpiece of any table!

This is the most beautiful baker! Lasagne has never tasted so good!

I find I'm using this a lot. It's a good size, cooks evenly, has good handles for "grabbing" with potholders, and is easy to clean. And I love the lid.

I received the Le Creuset Square Casserole dish as a wedding present and am so happy that I did!! This is one of my favorite pieces to bake with. I love that the stoneware cooks evenly and is designed perfectly with the side handles. Not only is it extremely functional and looks very nice, it cleans incredibly easily!

Disappointed - not real Made in France traditional Le Creuset

Disappointed to say the least. We purchased online and thought we were getting genuine made in France ceramic coated cast iron from Le Creuset. We got Le Creuset, but it was made in China bakeware. The lid did not fit correctly. We returned it unused.

Worth the investment, best lasagne and meatloaf in this. Its so nice to have a casserole dish/ baking dish with cover. I really dislike the idea of using tin foil so this is great as it traps in moisture and heat for even cooking. I would say this is in my top 5 of Le Creuset items you should own.

Just right!

We own the rectangle baker and now the square baker - we love both! Very happy we invested in the square baker which we now find we use almost weekly. We find it's the perfect size for keeping grilled meats warm from the grill to the serving table. We got the artichoke color and it's stunning. Very much recommend this piece.
