[Rewarded Review] Easy to use. Works well.

I own a number of air purifiers, and this one from Shark is very well designed. One of the things I really love about this air purifier is that it has a true night mode. Many of these air purifiers have a sleep or night mode that still has illumination on the purifier screen. I sleep in a dark room, and so battling with unnecessary light is never something I enjoy. The purifier does a stellar job of sensing when the air quality drops and kicks on and off based on the air quality. My biggest issue with this air purifier is that it comes with a plug in air freshener which is supposed to neutralize odors. The big problem, they don't tell you what it is that is in the air freshener. I am very scent sensitive and one of the reasons I have an air purifier is to remove stuff out of the air. I'm not wild about Shark adding something to the air without listing explicitly what is in the air freshener. The good news, it works just fine without adding the air freshener.

I really like this. It tells about several things in the air & cleans it. Every time I cook, it says the air is bad. I never new. I like the color coding of good, bad & in the middle. The touch panel is really nice. It makes me feel good to have this in my home. I have had others, but they did not do all the things that this does, nor did they cover this much square feet. This can do my whole house. It doesn't seem to use the filter that fast, which is a very important thing I look for. I have been using it for a few weeks and the filter life is at 93%. Other ones did not ever have something that would tell me the life of the filter, so this is unique and I love it. A con would be the smelly thing that comes with it. It does not say what it is that would be circulating through the air to make that smell. Additionally, I had no idea the package was that smelly thing. A warning should be placed on it so that people that do not wish to use it, do not open it. I did not want my son nor I to breath that in from opening it because the ingredients are unknown. Another thing that I wish this did was to eliminate the BAD chemicals that are in things like that usually. That would be the best. If the ingredients are good in that smelling thing, then it shouldn't be a problem to be transparent about it. Have a smelly thing that is not full of the BAD chemicals would be fantastic.

[Rewarded Review] Great air Purifier, leaves room smelling great!

We decided to use this air purifier in our downstairs gameroom. The air in this area of our house becomes stagnant and a bit stuffy at times. My son uses the gameroom the most and has the bad allergies so we figured an air purifier like this should be good for him.

This air purifier works wonders in my home with kids, dogs, cats, and birds. The purifier covers a 1200 sq. foot area, it very simple to set up and start using. It has settings that can be set to auto, or set the fan on low, medium, or high. The clean sense iq is great for constistently cleaning managing the power modes to clean the air. It indicates when the filter needs changing, and has a child lock on it too. Even on the high fan setting it is fairly quiet. It is good to eliminate, pet dander, smoke, fumes, dust, and allergens. The filter can last 6 to 12 months before needing to be changed. At night time there is an ultra quiet mode as to not bother one while sleeping. The front displays an analysis of the air in the room at all times, if someone were to be cooking and it detects smoke that number will go down until it cleans the air back to 100 percent. Was very surprised that upon setting it up, the air was clean within 90 minutes!

I have HORRIBLE allergies to dust and it is only getting worse as I get older. I never realize how much dust, dander and dog hair lingers in the air until I started regularly using this air purifier.

This new Shark Clean Scense Air Purifier with odor neutralizing technology is nothing short of amazing. It was super simple to set up. Easy to follow instructions. I love how it automatically tests the air quality itself. When I first turned it on I was surprised that my air quality was not in the optimal range. But the unit got to work right away. It had my air in the "blue zone" in no time. It adjusts to the air and you can hear the speed go faster and slower based on the quality of air. It is quite quiet for its size even when it is on max clean mode. I love the odor neutralizer. It has different settings. I was concerned at first it may be too powerful but you can adjust the smell amount that works for you. It has my whole house smelling great and I have 3 dogs! My husband noticed when he came home from work and asked if I had been cleaning all day. Can I count pressing a button on my new air purifier as cleaning? I think so!! Love it! Would definitely recommend to a friend.
