I got the dark grey / black rug for a bathroom and the quality (some of it) was good but the backing of the rug on this one was so weird. It was braided and coated in hard clear glue. The rug bunched up and crinkled when you walked on it. I don't know if it was an isolated case or intentional but it was awful.

Disappointed

Not quite the rug I thought it was. Placed it in the primary bedroom under the bed and the areas most walked matted up quickly. Became an eye sore very quickly. Ended up getting rid of it after 9 months.

The rug is great, but it won't lay down flat. It curls up and has bumps throughout. I plan to return it.

Plush rug

I bought this for my son's room it is very soft and he liked it but his bedroom door would not close because of how plush it was, this rug did not work in his room but maybe in a room where it would not be close to a door or a big area.

Great Rug Purchase

This rug was plush and much better than expected up arrival. I have purchased numerous rugs from Overstock and has never been disappointed.

I did read all of the reviews before I ordered this I also gave it well over a week took a few days for it to settle it vacuums very well but unfortunately it just looks plush you can feel the backing of the carpet and it feels like you're stepping on things unfortunately I don't think that you can return things without having to pay with Overstock so this may become a garage rug. Rugs are really tricky to buy online I also want to state that this is nowhere even near gray it is TAN! Which a lot of reviews did say. I would say that the photos are very inaccurate. I do not recommend this rug at all no matter what color my husband is very peeved about the rug, Color more so than it being a lumpy to walk on.

So Soft! Very Plush! So Satisfied!

i came here looking for a rug that was soft, fluffy, cushiony and something i could spend a lot of time sitting/lying on and something at an affordable price. this was the rug!! i am so pleased. above all else, the rug is so. soft. so nice on the feet in the early winter mornings. it's lovely to lie on, perhaps take a nap, and that was exactly what i was looking for. i've had my rug for about a month now and i am still very happy with it. i spend all my time on the floor now-- forget my couch. i prefer to work on this rug. some things to note: i got the "grey" color. this rug is not grey. i figured it wouldn't be from looking at reviews and actually prefer it as the brown i predicted it would come as, but just be warned. it is named grey, but it looks like its product pictures. second, the rug is a bit thin. it has about an inch rise (wouldn't recommend having it under a door) and it's still perfect to lie on and doesn't need to be thicker in that way, it's simply that the wool is woven directly into the backing. there isn't anything else. for any more money, i would have expected some sort of protection on the backing, as the wool is woven twice into the backing and appears to be only sort of melted into the back, not tied at all. so i wonder if after a while, some of the strands won't come undone. for this reason, i'd suggest getting a rug pad (i'd already planned on getting one so this wasn't a big deal for me). not because you *need* it but because the backing is exposed (as you can see in one of my pictures) and a rug pad might help the rug last longer. (although without it i fully expect this rug to last me several years.) it isn't hard to vacuum! i've vacuumed my rug a couple times and it works just fine! i am being careful however with food, shoes, and general muck simply because it's so thick that i think over time dirt may build up. this rug is in my bedroom though so it's fairly easy to keep clean. i'm not sure i'd recommend it for somewhere that gets an aweful lot of foot traffic. that being said, a couple days after i got the rug, my dog kindly threw up on it but i was able to clean it out with a scrubber pretty well. TL;DR the rug is SO SOFT. SO. SOFT. excellent for lying on. overall a great product for the money spent. not too thin and fairly easy to clean. however, IT'S NOT GREY. it's brown. i am incredibly happy with this product, as it met all my criteria.

this rug is sooooo soft and cozy. It is perfect in the nursery- my baby loves to crawl all over it. It helps makes the room warm and stylish.

Shag rugs

These rugs makes my bedroom pop with color and plush materials. Love! I have to keep my dogs off it, they love them also. Soft and plush. I would buy these again.

The rug works well in my kitchen as a nice cushion piece. I will probably move it to another part of the house though at some point and get a wider one

This rug wore very quickly. Flattening in places of high traffic. Although very soft and high piling it does not feel high quality. The white is a great shade of white.

Love this white shag rug. It is perfect to step on out of bed in the morning. Delivery and packing were straightforward. Has held up well in the bedroom. Would not choose a white shaggy rug for a high traffic area.

Cheap Rug

I am not satisfied with the quality of this product. It was circular but not flat, I inderstand it was rolled due to shipping purposes, however once opened the material was hard and uneven with inability to lay flat. For the price of the rug the material and quality could of been better. Very surprised overstock sold this product!

Absolute Must Buy!!!!!!!!!

Do not think about it - just buy it! If you are looking for super plush, big (8x10) and beautiful in your space you will love this!

I love the look and texture of this rug. I have to be careful where I place it as I have pets and a messy husband, so it is on my side of the bed. It is nice to get out of bed and step on a fluffy cloud

Unbelievably rigid, hard cheap plastic backing.

The top is very lush and pretty. Two stars because the bottom of the rugs are extremely hard. These are going in my son's dorm, so I am not worried; however, if they are going on hardwood or ceramic tile floors, you will need a thick pad. Never in my life have I seen a rug backing so rigid, and cheaply made. I couldn't even shake them out. I asked my husband to, and he is strong, and he tried, and yelled "ouch!" because the rug hurt his hand. It can't even be shaken out like a normal rug. When you can't shake out a little 3x5 or 2x3 rug, they are defective, and I highly doubt they are handmade.

Soft, thick, well-made, dies not shed or off-gas. Was the perfect choice!
