So much prettier than the photos. The metallic silver threads make it pop. It’s very rough though, so this is purely decorative and NOT a pillow you would want to use for actual lumbar support.
Very cute! The silver leather weave is very shiny, which I wasn’t expecting based on the online photo. But it’s still very attractive. It is itchy when you sit against it, but you can just flip it over to the soft, velvety back side when sitting.
This pillow looks nice but is very stiff. The insert is not substantial enough and it looks slightly flat. It has held up very well over the course of 3 years, however.

It looks very different from the picture and I would like to return it but don't know how.
This Lumbar pillow has a lot of character, it is not a soft pillow because it is leather but it adds texture. I gave this pillow to my daughter as a present and she likes it.
This braided cowhide pillow packs quite a punch! The colors are neutral, but have a slight silvery shimmer that adds an element of glamour without going over the top.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many decorative pillows should I use on my sofa?
The number can vary based on your sofa size and desired look, but a mix of 3-5 pillows allows for variety without overcrowding.
Can I mix patterns and textures in decorative pillows?
Yes, mixing patterns and textures adds depth and interest. Keep a cohesive color scheme to tie the look together.
How do I care for and clean my decorative pillows?
Follow the care label instructions. Many pillows have removable covers that can be machine washed or dry cleaned.
What is pillow karate, and how does it enhance the look of decorative pillows?
Pillow karate involves placing a 'chop' at the top of fluffed-up pillows to create a notch, giving a more casual and inviting appearance, especially effective on glossy fabric to add shadow effects.
What strategies can be used to arrange pillows decoratively on a sofa?
Use an odd number of pillows for a dynamic look and vary their shapes and sizes to create asymmetry. Avoid placing two identical pillows together to keep the arrangement visually interesting.
How can I avoid overcrowding when decorating a bed with pillows?
Balance is key. Use different pillow sizes and arrange them strategically, such as two standard pillows for sleeping and two decorative pillows for accent, to avoid a cluttered look.
What is the 60/30/10 color rule in interior design?
This rule helps in creating a balanced color scheme. It suggests using 60% of a dominant color, 30% secondary color, and 10% accent color in a room's palette.
How does the concept of an optical midpoint play into design?
The optical midpoint is a visual sweet spot slightly above the center of an area. Placing objects at this point can make a design look more aesthetically pleasing.
What are some effective ways to mix multiple interior design styles?
To blend different styles, focus on a dominant style and add accents from others. This approach maintains cohesion while adding interest and personality to the space.
