I have bought this 5 times!!

I love love love this wooden toy chest! I have been gifting this for many of my family members and it's a hit! I love how comfortable it is to sit on! And truly a well made easy to assemble product. I wish they were in stock because I have two more baby showers this month and I need them asap!

Nice cabinet

Went together pretty quickly. Good quality. Fit our needs.

Convenient storage

I needed a chest in my kitchen are that matched and provided hidden storage. This has fit my needs.

Nice for the price

It came with a few flaws, but nothing major. The couple of flaws were intentions that might chip away eventually because they're on the edges. But it was very easy to put together. It is pressed board, so you get what you pay for. But for now it'll serve its purpose holding shoes and having somewhere to put them on by the entry.

There was some difficulty in assembling it. I’d like each part labeled.

Only two things I'd change

Easy to assemble, nice instructions, and very sturdy. I only wish it was offered in more wood designs and was a bit bigger. Fits at the end of a twin bed, but too small for a full.

Cracked and chewed gum

There was a crack in the wood.

Nice design, cheaply made product with good hinge

Looks nice in the picture, but it’s just cheaply made particle board product. I do however, like the hinge on the lid. I don’t have to worry about it slamming down on my kids. (1 & 4yr old) and the openings under the lid are a nice safety feature. I doubt this was intended for small children, but it works for what it is. Purchased for my toddler to store extra blankets and pillows, but I don’t think the wood grain paper layer will hold up long term. Sadly overpriced for what it is.

Dangerous!!!!

This is advertised as a toy box, the "soft close" hinge has detached twice. The lid is very heavy and has injured my 2 year Olds face and fingers severely. I'm behind livid and upset. Shoal creek, please contact me.

Sturdy but arrived with damage

Received this as a Christmas gift for my son from his grandparents. Was excited to finally have a storage chest for all of his toys. We were almost finished putting it together when we noticed a large crack through one of the pieces on the back side. Although extremely unfortunate, it still seems like a sturdy piece that we hope to get a lot of use out of.

Not what I expected I had an issue with assembly doesn’t hold as much as I thought it would, the bottom about 4 inches from the floor so it was not as deep as I thought. Packaging was not that good the box was ripped

I give it 5 out of 10

The trunk is nice, the color fits my decor great. The spring in the inside broke so I’ll have to use wood glue to replace it. The trunk is smaller than I thought it would be. It was not as easy to assemble but I got it done.

Springs doesn't work well

I've bought plenty of items and bought two of these, one white and one brown. Spring was off, the other one, board was broken at the bottom. Didn't know until it was fully together

This is not a good piece of furniture. It piece that holds the top of the chest open broke and severely damaged the top of the chest. So tired of companies taking my money and giving me substandard products.

Nice toy chest

Looks good and is holding up to a 3 year old boys abuse. One drawback, is because of the material the box is made from, he did manage to pull the screws out that hold the lid up. there was one stamp on the middle and it didn't hold the lid straight up, which is what he tried to make it do.
