Honestly much better quality than I was expecting. Came in a lot of pieces but the instructions were fairly clear. Boxes were VERY heavy so keep that in mind if you have to bring them up steps. Overall very happy with product

Hampton Off White Buffet with Hutch 5100-0021-12

This is a nicely finished Hutch. The surface is not a paint, but a plastic enamel that cleans easily. Assembly was fairly straight forward. Some of the Cams don't lock as well as others I have assembled. Doors need a little re-work to line them up well. many nice features for storage and display.

Good piece of furniture, but not white

The hutch arrived in perfect condition. The packaging was some of the best I've ever seen - very protective. Assembly wasn't hard, as long as I followed the instructions in the order shown. It went together with only two minor glitches. The dowel holes on one piece in the upper part were slightly misaligned. A rubber mallet fixed that. The backing panel in the upper part bowed out and there was nothing provided to make it lay flat. So I added a couple of screws. The materials used are solid, much better than most furniture I've assembled. The color isn't white. I wouldn't even call it off-white. It is a yellowish cream color. The best description I come up with is that it reminds me of French Vanilla ice cream.

Very cute buffet-hutch - Completes my kitchen

This buffet and hutch was pretty easy to put together, and is so cute. Looks perfect in the corner of our kitchen next to our window. It has plenty of space for everything I needed a hutch for. I bought this in October of 2021, and it cost $583 at that time. Price has now gone up $149, which tips it over what I think is fair. If you're unsure, keep looking and come back to this if you don't find anything better. I do love my hutch. It completes the look of my kitchen and does the job.

NOT WHITE

Everything about this piece is good except for the FACT that it is not white. It's not white and not even off-white. It's GRAY. And that is frustrating because yes, as someone else commented, we were trying to match it to other storage pieces that are white. So, now we're basically stuck with an expensive gray piece that does not match anything else. We are very frustrated with that.

This is the one for Us

We have been searching for months trying to find just the right item we could use as a coffee bar and pantry overflow. This item really turned out to be the best to suite our needs. First well packaged and all parts included were quality and well-marked. Instructions clear and assembly seemed as if someone who knew how to assemble it and used common sense to step by step put this together, so you are not tempted to short cut it to do it better. Assembled and installed in a day only issue if you plan to put anything needing power and it has a grounded plug it will have to go through the convenient cord passthrough prior to attaching the top unit. the opening will pass a 2 wire plug easily not a 3 wire.

Bought this for my wife who has a Canadal two...

Bought this for my wife who has a Canadal two toned dining set. We looked & looked and could not find a buffet to match. Low & behold Home Depot had an exact match in colors, the perfect size & she loves it. I took my time putting it together. First day I did the bottom & the 2nd I did the top. Instructions were easy to follow & it came with all of the hardware. Sturdy and we expect it will last years. Makes the whole room warmer.

Good price, poor quality

The buffet and hutch looks very nice when built. The installation is not complicated but the bolts that are supposed lock in to keep the hutch solid didn’t lock correctly, so when you would moved the hutch it would start falling apart. We had to lock the parts in and then glue them. One drawer is not straight and sticks on the Buffett piece and one cupboard door in the buffet fits somewhat loosely. We had to put felt stoppers on the shelves in the buffet once they were installed so they wouldn’t slide back and forth. This piece is a temporary piece for us.

One thing they could have done better is make the hutch just a tiny bit deeper. Dinner plates do not fit in the hutch with the size it is now. Giving it just an extra 1/4 inch would have taken care of that. I do like that it it is solid wood. And the color is perfect for me, it’s more of a creamy/gray white. Not a pure white. The assembly directions were ok. The buffet was easier, had more problems with the hutch. Probably more from a lack of experience. A handy person would have finished it quicker. But I got it done by myself and that’s what counts. You do need help lifting the top on the bottom, so count on getting a friend/relative to help out with that. Overall I’m happy with this purchase.

This is a heavy and nice buffet hutch. Great look, heavy material that it's made of. My only draw back is the drawers go in a bit cock-eyed on some of them. Moving them around doesn't help[. Not noticeable only to the person opening the drawer. Otherwise it's a great piece of furniture

Aside from it took a while to put together, my husband and we're very pleased with outcome and quality. It will surely last a long time. The color should be changed to off white instead of white. I am not sure who decides on the name but they have to take it in consideration that people usually try to watch it with either their wall paint or their current kitchen decor or color. Products was certainly packaged well and secure. I wish they offer other products in the same line.

Almost Satisfied, but........

The product is great except for the shelves, which are too small. I was unable to use the cabinets to store dinner plates. The product should be manufactured with wider/deeper shelf space. Additionally, the color is not white as I expected, but more of a cream shade. Otherwise it is well built and beautiful to look at. It fits well in the intended space.

The base cabinet and the hutch were shipped in two boxes. Very well packed and protected with lots of padding. the parts were well labeled and the instructions clear and easy to follow. Very easy to assemble. Only problem a couple of the metal screw locks would not tighten like they were supposed to. A little glue solved the problem and when the base was added it all was a tight fit. the cabinet and hutch look good and we are very pleased with the purchase. Note. Door hinges com on the cabinet and the door. Just have to drop them in place. Also, the drawers are strudy built and go together very easy! You will need a helping hand at a couple of points more parts than one can hold and make the assembly. Over all an easy assembly, and good looking finished product!!

The picture and description displayed in the listing is bright white. Very disappointed after receiving it that it is NOT bright white. It is more like a grayish white. The three boxes this product comes in weigh nearly 200 pounds. It was very time consuming to have to pick up the product get it to our home and into inside to assemble it. Once I opened the first box I immediately realized it was not white.

While it was fairly easy to assemble; 1) the cam locks do not lock and can disengage fairly easily, making the item hard to move without pieces falling apart, 2) some of the cam lock screw holes had to be redone as they were not drilled straight, and 3) some of the pieces were hard to fit together because they weren't made precisely. Overall, the buffet with hutch is too high priced for the quality received. For as long as it has been sold, the flaws should have been corrected by now. If the price came down, or the quality improved, it would be worth it.

Better than I expected but not perfect

This shipped in record time given the size, ordered it late Wednesday and it was dropped off in the am on Friday. I think it came from Idianapolis and I am outside Chicago. UPS guy delivered it alone and dropped it (one box is particularly heavy and bulky). On the base there are two braces for attaching the legs and one was completely stripped out and the other was loose (three smallish wood screws hold it in place) given my emergency need I resorted to liquid nail to reattach the brackets. I expect no problems unless the unit is slid sideways.
