Perfect for small spaces. Pretty easy to put together but make sure you have some time set aside for the task as it is a full assembly. But once up as together it's a very quality product, great looking too!

The table and chairs are absolutely stunning!! Very well made and GORGEOUS!! I love this set and it goes so well in my kitchen. The table top and white washed wood gives it a coastal feel which is what I’m going for. The table top is so beautiful!! The stools are very comfortable. It was easy to put together and I did it by myself. I am a woman and a young senior. The only problem I had was one of the small shelf screws broke in half. Luckily I had stainless steel ones. It is very heavy so if you’re doing it by yourself it will be a little hard turning it to its upright position. I do wish they would have included something for the bottom of table legs and chairs feet though.

Updated Review

UPDATE: After having this table for less than a month, the internal leg completely ripped out of the particle board while I was typing on my computer at the table. I was able to screw it back in, with the hopes that it doesn't do it again. Cosmetically, it does not look great. 6/28/23: Not only was my table delivered three days early, it was easy to assemble and great quality. It's mostly real wood, not much particle board, the screws were greased, and the directions were straightforward.

Great buy and perfect for small kitchen!

This was just what I needed for my small kitchen. It looks great and the cushions on stools are very comfortable. It was easy to assemble, and I purchased a tempered glass top separately for added protection for the wood. I also saved money purchasing through Walmart versus buying directly from Ashley.

Disappointed!!

The table is perfect, but It came in damaged on the table top. It looks like I purchased a used table. I was offered 10% for the inconvenience. I am very disappointed!!! I was also missing a main piece. The company will be sending that part. But couldn't replace the table top. My box was in pieces so I was unable to return it.

Cheap and Top covered in black marks

I knew i shouldn't have boughten a product that needed to be put together. I paid someone to put it together, only to find out when he was done that the top of the table had black streaks & gouges running up & down. It's as if a child drew with a black crayon everywhere. Now I am working on getting it replaced

Love my new table!!!

Love my new table! Assembly was pretty easy, the stools were actually a little tricky because you have to make sure the legs are on the correct sides so the beams fit into them correctly and are flush but it's pretty much trial and error. I do wish the parts were labeled with the letters to correspond with the instructions. For instance in step 1 they label the part a N but in another section for the same part it's labeled it as J but it's still pretty easy to figure out by the pictures. Took about 2 hours to put together.

I'm so glad I stopped in to look for an area rug. I decided to go look at their options for the kitchen. Tables, etc. I ran across this and lucky for me, it was also on sale as well. So I got an awesome kitchen island at a great price!! LOVE IT!!

Do not buy this table!

While this product looks nice, do not buy unless you are willing to pay almost $200 extra to have Steinhafel's put it together. The directions are cryptic - very difficult to follow. Plus, the pieces I received did not have predrilled holes where they were supposed to, where the bolts go to hold it together. And returning it to Steinhafel's because I am completely frustrated with it and it's a faulty product is costing me $58.55, plus a one hour drive to a super store, rather than being able to return it to the neighborhood store 25 minutes away. I'm so disappointed with this product and Steinhafel's unsatisfactory response.

I really like this sturdy table and stool set. I wallpapered the shelf wall and love it. This set fits perfectly in my craft room.

Charm

In LOVE with this charming dining set. Fits perfectly into my space. Sturdy, easy assembling with two. (Only con, holes are NOT pre drilled for the shelves.) I replaced a larger, 6 chair, counter height dining set, that was too large for my space. Very happy with my purchase, and I plan on buying a set of the matching chairs too. The only reason I gave 4 stars vs. 5, the instructions are lacking and the shelf holes not being pre drilled. Patience is required.
