Modern and very functional

My husband selected this bookcase for me. I thought it was interesting looking, but possibly too big for my office. Once in the room, I decided it was perfect!

BEAUTIFUL STARMORE BOOKCASE

This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Needs two people to put it together but well worth the time and energy. Definitely use a power drill instead of the manual wrench. Very sturdy and well made. I love it!

Love this Shelf!

I ordered this online, without seeing it in person. I was more than pleasantly surprised when it arrived! I fell in love immediately . It is very sturdy, looks amazing and fit in my spot just liked I'd hoped it would. Shelves are deep enough to hold all sorts of items.

Would not recommend

Instructions were terrible. Some of the screw holes were missed drilled. Would have taken it back if I didn't have a hard time just getting it into the house because of the weight

Some tips on assembling the bookcase.

Once assembled, the shelves look great! However, the instructions have a mistake in them that you should be aware of when assembling this shelf. It will save you some time spent scratching your head. On the 1st step, it shows to put the connecting rod labeled "D" in the top slot. However, it needs to go into the slot below that as the lower slot has no hole in it and neither those the "D" rod. If "D" is put on the top slot, then you can't attach the screw. So put rod "C" at the top and "D" below it. Also, the threading in 3 of the holes easily stripped out and the screws wouldn't tighten appropriately. So I had to just barely tighten them. Despite this, the shelving is solid and doesn't wobble. Next, the wood patterns on the unfinished bottoms of a couple of the shelves don't look so great so I advise you to inspect them prior to attaching them. Then put the less attractive ones on the bottom tiers so you don't have to see them. Since I was putting this together by myself, I lassembled all of the metal structure first, then slid the shelves into place afterwards. Then I tightened down all of the screws. So although the build wasn't a ton of fun, I like the end result!

Awesome shelf

Saw shelf in the store while with someone else shopping for a table. Thought the style was neat, purchased it online while it was on sale. Easy assembly and it has really made my living room look much better. Sturdy and well made

I love it.

Fits perfectly. It’s the right color, the right height, the right everything. I thought I was going to have to assemble it myself much to my dismay but the delivery guys walked in my house with it fully assembled. It felt like it was my birthday!! Just one downside, the bookcase is now on sale for about $100 less than what I paid. Oh well.

Good but missing hardware

This is a nice piece, but the instructions don't make sense and it was missing some of the hardware (washers). It works well as a fancy shoe rack.

Attractive bookcase for book library

I use this bookcase to actually store my very large personal book library. The bookcase was easy, fast to assemble. The wooden shelves are very sturdy & have a lip around the entire perimeter of the shelves which makes it impossible for books to slip off the shelves.

Not just a bookcase! It’s a statement piece!

I saw this beautiful bookcase a few weeks ago in the showroom. I could not get it out of my mind. Finally, the time & price was right, and I excitedly purchased it. It’s heavy (107 lbs of love â ¤ï¸ ) and Fed Ex delivered the huge box to my front door, and kindly helped to put it in my foyer. I brought everything up one piece at a time, spread it all out, and took my time to assemble it myself. It took me a few hours, at my own pace. Everything was there in the box, directions were clear & the quality is unbelievable! I specifically bought this bookcase and subsequently assembled it on the 1 yr anniversary of losing my Dad. It’s a fitting tribute.

Some areas doesn't have holes

Of course it needs two people to assemble. Easy. Looks nice hence my three stars.The problems encountered were (a) one metal stand didn't have drilled hole in one area, to connect screw into the shelf. (b) There were two areas where the metal holes didn't line up with the holes of the wood shelf. I am hoping the metal stand underneath will hold it. (c) As I tighten the screw from metal to wood, the glue that holds the wood together seems to slowly come off, so what I did was not tighten it up too much hoping it won't give in. Nice but it didn't serve my purpose. And tooo big/heavy to return.

The best bookcase ever

One of the best bookshelves I've ever seen. It is big, tall and sturdy.Has a lip around the shelves so things can't fall off. Very wide and tall-great for a tall room. You can have great fun styling it. I look forward to changing it up for the seasons and holidays.

Doesn’t quite line up

Love the look of this bookshelf. It’s heavy duty and sturdy which is great for books. However two of the shelves had holes which were not properly spaced to attach all of the bolts. Took a lot of messing around to get in 3 out of 4. Other shelves went in easily and I was able to put together on my own.

Poor quality and manufacturing

It looks great on the photo but the distance between bars is too long causing to strees and crack the shelves when bolting together. I cracked first shelf and then had to leave all the others with bolts loose, so it can't handle weight and also is unstable.
