Dont waste your money!!

We purchased these tiles for a kitchen backslash. First, once the backing is off the tiles shift around being held by just the adhisive backing and therefore do not line up as perfect as when you first lay them out, that just requires a bit more work. The real issue is they have all started to fall off!! We followed the install instructions to a T. The tiles were installed on a normal drywalled surface that had been freashly painted two weeks earlier. Still, the tile backing is crap and wont stay on the wall but it sure sticks to the floor, countertop, stove and itself as it falls!! So puting them back into place required an adhisive glue and of course the fall off the wall damages some. I wrote the company for help and for them to stand by their product and to date i havent heard a peep from them. Do what i should have done to begin with... buy ceramic tiles and NOT THESE!!

I just got one of each of these tiles in (three different colors). They are very pretty. That is the only positive about them. The individual hexagons are not perfect, you can actually see it in the picture. They have a thin cheap 2 sided sticky foam on the back, it sticks to the surface of whatever you are putting it on, and to the individual hexagons. I expected for $20+ per tile that I would receive all aluminum tiles, but they have an extremely thin layer of aluminum pasted onto a cheap plastic layer that makes up the majority of the tile. I actually bought these for gaming tiles, each individual hexagon would be removed and separated for easily placed tiles, and for this purpose they are pretty great. The reason I am giving such a low score has entirely to do with the products overall quality versus the price, they are getting an extreme margin on these. I have bought high end tiles before up to $15/sq.ft. onyx tiles, and these are not in that ball park, they aren't the kind of quality you would expect for a nice expensive tile. That being said if you are looking for gaming tiles, these are outstanding. The shipping was slow to begin with, but after a 30 minute conversation with Homedepot.com customer support it was expedited and shipped. Apparently there was an issue between the supplier and the shipper.
