Painted plywood
I was super disappointed with this night stand. I ordered two and received one (apparently one got lost in the mail) . It came very damaged in several places. A replacement was sent and it also came damaged. There were dents in several places, the drawers work on the worst slide out system possible that is not even screwed in and needed to be "fixed". The drawers are shifted to one side. If you look closely you can see that the entire body of the nightstand is just spray painted 1/4 inch plywood. From afar it looks nice.
