I must say I was surprised when I got this together. It was bright, loud (bubbler) and I realized too late that it can't really be planted with live plants (I fixed that later). I also had to buy an air valve to bleed off some of the air to the tank. I'm still trying to fix the brightness of the light in the tank. If you are into pink gravel and plastic plants, then this is the tank for you. If you are into live plants and natural settings, then this is not your best choice. Is seems like all of BIO ORBS choices for tank decor all are slated towards a salt water theme, or other seasonal choices. I would prefer not to put freshwater fish in a pseudo salt-water environment. Just my personal opinion. I added Java fern tied onto wood and Java moss to satisfy my choice for real plants. It's working.

Not sure what can go in these

This is a betta no. Betta need surface air to breath so restricted surface area is never a good thing. Now other fish and animals maybe for some tetras but this tank is just to impractical for most implications. For shrimp love it but nothing really crazy fun I would put in any of these enclosures.

Got it today very easy to set up can’t wait to see fish and plants in it. Love it bigger than I thought but don’t mind at all.

This is easy to set up and is a beautiful, decorative addition to a room. Have had it set up for a couple of weeks now and our fish are doing well.

not for an aquarium enthuseist

I love a crystal clear tank and the very nature/shape of this tank precludes that . sort of hazy thru the thickest areas ( because it is plastic). Also the locked in place air/filtration system greatly restricts placement of decorations. But, most noticeable "flaw" is that millions of tiny little bubbles form and collect on the inside of the upper 1/3 of the tank., I've wiped those bubbles down several times and they just continue to form. That worsens the visibility...After being set-up and running the glowing orb looks like a full moon on a slightly clouded night. I will be looking into the return policy. I believe the orb should be glass for clarity.

BiOrb 4gal. Fish tank

It is a beautiful aquarium. But it comes with nothing not even one plant and the fish stores in Canada will not sell you fish for a tank under 8 gallons. I feel like this had a lot of false advertisement in it or just not enough information. I’ve never owned a fish but I bought this for my grand children who were absolutely thrilled. We had to go and get everything ourselves and I felt like it was a bit of a gyp. We did end up buying one beta fish and the whole set of decor and things to go in the Fishtank. I think once the fish gets used to the tank he’s going to be extremely happy in his new home.
