Don't Waste Your Money
The machine vacuumed and sealed well; however, the latches on the top that close the sealer were thin plastic, very cheaply and poorly made, far too thin, and broke after the first few times closed

just bought. fabulous, of course i have only used one day. i vacuum and sealed ribs i cooked,i added to the package sauce. so,i will take some out in 2months and see how it taste. soooo eazy to use.
Great little workhorse!!!
This is the second foodsaver I have purchased and it is a great workhorse of an appliance. I cook and buy in bulk and freeze portions compatible to my family size. The sealing keeps my food fresher for longer and because I freeze smaller portions, whatever I package i use gets used up immediately so I don’t waste much. I have even convinced my family members to start buying/sealing this way as well. We all love it. This FoodSaver is small enough that I keep it in my counter for quick use. Even when not using the vacuum, you can reseal just about anything, bags of uncooked rice or beans, even potato chips. I highly recommend this product.
