Great citrus juicer
I’ve had a few other citrus juicers, and this is, by far, the best one I’ve tried! I’ve only juiced oranges and lemons, but it has worked great. It squeezes the maximum of amount of juice, gets rid of all the pith, and it cleans up easily. It’s very simple to put together and use, too. I highly recommend this juicer.
Citrus Juicer -
We bought this product twice. The firts one was the pro made in Satainles Steel in 2015, after 3 years the side of the hinge attached to the body - then fix to the handle - got broken. We use it on dayly basis for orange juice for the 6 month we live in florida. We replace for the plastic one, we thought the machine was impoved and will not happens again, unfortunately we got after 4 years the same problem. We looked on this site to see if there is a spare part to fix it but is not .
Yes, Buy This!
Love this! Worth every penny. I had a smaller juicer, but i didn’t have the hand strength to force down the orange. this juicer is so easy, very quiet and super easy to clean. Good quality product !!
Runs quiet
Works like a charm. It's runs quiet enough to still be able to have a conversation while using it. Parts are easy to clean. My only (minor) complaint is the pulp builds up after the third orange or so and needs to be emptied or juice flow almost stops. Other than that it's a great product. A little spendy but doesn't feel cheap
Love it
Had bought a cheap one... It broke after 1 year.. repurchased the same cheap one... It broke after 1 year again. Invested a bit more into this and so far it's worth every penny. It's just better. Let's hope it lasts longer than a year!
This citrus press is amazing! It gets all the juice out and very quickly. It takes a slight press to operate, so my arthritic hand can do it easily. I truly love it. We drink G & T's nightly--our ritual--so this press has changed our lives. Also, I had a terrible cold and drinking lemon and honey tea was the only thing that helped much, so I used this press all day long. It's important to rinse the parts right after using the press as the lemon/lime particles will stick and adhere tightly if you don't!
Well Made and designed !
I recently bought the Sage "Citrus Press" as I squeeze oranges virtually every day !
Squeaking Unit
I just had 2x of these units warrantied because one was squeaking and the other intermittently stopped working. I just received my new units and I can't even make this up if I tried but they are both squeaking! The first one started after a week of use, and the other literally immediately after taking it out of the box and unwrapping it.
Just Stopped Working
I had this machine. Took excellent care of it. Used maybe a handful of times but it suddenly stopped working. Disappointing since there are far less expensive citrus presses out there that work just as well and perhaps are more reliable...
not very consistent
I've had this for a month and use it many times each week. I had 2 Cuisinart juicers before and since I have several Breville appliances that I love, decided to try this when my Cuisinart finally gave up. 60% of the time, the fruit does not stay in a fixed position on the juicer and doesn't extract juice effectively. I have my manual juicer on stand by to finish the job but have never had to do this in the past. I think this is a design problem. I have tried to adjust the fruit on the juicer by reseating it but haven't been able to find a reliable way to consistently get a decent result. I think I will return this and try something else if WS will work with me.
Very Good So Far
I've had this for about 6 months and it juices oranges very well. It's usually relatively easy, juices them completely, and cleanup isn't too difficult.
Good juicer
I bought this to juice all the oranges from our tree. Works great for oranges. Tried it with lemons and also works really well. Recently used it for grapefruit and due to the size of the juicing cone vs the larger grapefruit size, had to push the edges of the grapefruit onto the rotating cone in order to get out all the juice. Would be great if juicer came with a larger and smaller cone that can be switched out depending on the size of the fruit you are trying to juice…but overall a good product even as is.
Great Juicer
It's been about 2 weeks since I started using my juicer. So far, it works as expected. It's easy to assemble and wash. The only thing I wish was included is the pulp option. I like having pulp in my juice once a while. Otherwise, I love how easy it is to use. I would recommend it to my friends.
Works great with regular sized fruit, okay with key limes
I finally tried it with lemons. Works excellent! In regard to key limes it works okay but you need to squeeze them to get the residual juice out. Even with doing that it beats doing it manually. Overall great purchase and excellent product.
First one failed after a few uses, on number two.
So why buy a second one? Honestly, I do like the product. When it works, it works really well and I was very happy with it. Unfortunately, after maybe four uses the motor began overheating and I was a few months out of the 12 month warranty. I was very disappointed and I don't think a one year warranty is enough for something most people use a few times a year. I'm hoping my second one lasts longer than the first but time will tell. I'm mixed on the question of recommending it to a friend, that depends on how long my second one works.
Worth the price
This is hands down THE best citrus juicer. (I call it my sangria and margarita maker) :) You get all the possible juice out of your fruit. And fruit is expensive. I use half of the fruit I used to, to make sangria than I did using other juicers for my oranges so it pays for itself over time. I make margaritas from scratch quickly without sore hands after. Clean up is a dream! This is the new go to wedding gift instead of a waffle or bread maker. Mine stays on my kitchen counter as I use it all time. Lemon water and salad dressings or marinades are made almost daily with this puppy. :)
Works well!
This presser was on my wish list for a long time! Finally got it! Have to say few things - the presser is quite big and heavy so plan your counter space carefully! Another thing I have to note is that fruit size matters- I just bought small oranges and the juicer doesn’t squeeze it very well. I think it would
This is the "Real Deal."
We have a seasonal home in Palm Springs. The grounds have dozens of citrus trees - pomelo, lemons, and several types of orange. Ripening begins after in January and really sweet in March. One can easily juice dozens a day. Most inexpensive juicers last barely a season. This year we tried the Citrus Press. It works very easily with no hint of fatigue after a dozen fruits juiced in 10-15 minutes. Very little pressure on the handle is needed. The sieve seems to strain out a perfect amount of pulp. Cleaning is a breeze - lift out the cone, sieve, basket and rinse. Nothing else gets messed up much. The cone handles small and medium fruits easily. Larger oranges, pomelos, and grapefruits may need repositioning for a good squeeze. The manual says 800 watts of power. It doesn't sound like much, but it is plenty. We have the resin (plastic) model. It is very solid and heavy enough to stay in place during operation. Personally, I can't see where the die-cast (metal) model has any real advantage. I would have bought the "metal" model but it was not in stock. Now I am glad it wasn't. This is the "real deal" - quiet, powerful, and very easy to use. A "clip" of some sort to hold the press handle in a semi-closed position would be handy. When the press handle is relaxed (fully up) the unit doesn't fit under the upper cabinets. A medium sized rubber band under the spout and over the handle does the trick. Nothing like Estate grown citrus for a delicious Screw-driver at cocktail hour.
Luxurious juicing experience with Breville
The Breville juicer replaces a 30-year old Braun Citromatic (which was still working, with a repaired plastic reamer-strainer). The Breville juicer is much more efficient and easy to use, adapting to just about any juicing assignment. It collects the juice in its receiver bowl, or delivers it via the handy spout.
A dream machine
Makes very quick work of a tedious chore. It’s much more efficient than any of the manual juicers I’ve used, pressing every bit of juice from the fruit. I’ve used it for oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and limes. It’s fast, much quieter than I imagined it would be, and cleaning it is a breeze. One of my reasons for buying this is to keep from constantly buying plastic bottles of juices and -ades. Mission accomplished, and without me resenting the extra effort involved. (I’ve only had this a couple of months; it was recommended by a friend who’s had hers quite a while and uses it almost every day. I’ve had other Breville appliances, and based on their performance and my friend’s input, I trust the durability of this citrus press. I’ll update this review if that trust is misplaced.)
