Pretty and practical spoon rest

Ideal for me

I have wanted something like this for years. It's large enough to hold the "bowls" of several spoons, forks etc during mixing/cooking without them falling off on to the work surface. I've tried several different rests over the years and usually resort to a saucer in the end if I am using several tools. It's typical Alessi. Looks great and functions well. I'm a fan of their products - the practical ones - not obsessive. It can go in the dishwasher which is a bonus for me. Watching my daughter in law who loves all types of cooking, the other day, I'm going to buy her one for Christmas.
