GREAT KIDS Hoop!!

I love this hoop. It is extremely easy to take on and off the goal. The U bolts that go around the goal adjust with a simple 'wing' nut style nut - its plastic and easy on the hands. I had it moved to 3 different positions in the matter of minutes to see which height my kids wanted to play on. It is really a great product and I am excited to play more with my kids on it.

Bought this to replace a basketball hoop that came with the trampoline. It mounted to a 2” pole - with shorter bolts - and my boys love it. Has already withstood multiple rim-hanging dunks and wind storms.

Family fun with the Silverback Junior Youth Basket

We love this Silverback Junior Youth Basketball hoop!! I have 4 grandchildren ranging in age from 8 to 2 and they all like to play basketball. We connected the youth goal lower on our larger goal and everyone gets to play together. When the littles aren't playing we just fold it up. It's fast and easy! Great price at Walmart.

Great hoop! Love the flexibility!

Super impressed with this hoop! We put it up by our pool and it’s prefect!! PLUS I LOVE the flexibility it offers being able to get attached to our standing court for my younger kids! It’s more than I could have imagined.

Flimsy, poor customer service

This basketball goal is not at sturdy as I would have liked. We have it attached to our regular square basketball pole, but if it gets bumped by a missed shot anywhere, even on the rim, it tilts. It doesn't matter how tight we tighten the bolts, it still gets knocked crooked. The rim is also very bouncy and continues to bounce up and down for a while after a shot. Unfortunately, I called to try and return the goal because (like the website says) I was not 100% satisfied. I ended up having to get a manager to agree to give me a refund on the open item, but then they won't pay for return shipping. It would be over $50 to ship the item back, which is not worth it! Poor customer service in addition.

Great for adults too

I bought this for me and my son to hang in the garage like an over-the-door hoop on steroids. Love it. Much smaller than an actual hoop / backboard, so it serves our purposes well. Had to creat a mounting bracket with some plywood and bolts to get it to hang on a wall.

Adjustability makes this backboard perfect!

My grandsons love this backboard. It works perfectly for our basement. It’s wonderful to be able to adjust the height for the different age kids.

Littles With Bigs

My 2 yr old son loves playing ball and now he can still play while his older sisters shoot on the big hoop. It has made basketball even better in our house. We love this hoop and would highly recommend it to other families with young kids.

Fun for kids!!!

This is a great basketball hoop for kids of all ages, but really fun for the little ones. They often want to play but don't get to develop their skills because of strength issues with reaching the higher hoop...this allows them to shoot and have fun like the big kids do!

Innovative

The convenience of this product is wonderful. Easily move from one spot to another, and can even have multiple mounting brackets to make moving it even easier/quicker. Love the fold up rim, which keeps it out of the way if you've mounted it to a bigger hoop. Also makes transporting easy. The spring mechanism is also a unique upgrade.

The little guy can play basketball now!

We've been looking for a goal that all of our kids would be able to use and this one checked all the boxes: light weight, adjustable for all ages/heights, nice looking, and movable. It was bigger than expected and has a full size hoop that folds up for storage. It's light just where it needs to be and solid everywhere else. Fit perfect on the old goal post at grandma's house.

You Can't Live Without This Jr Hoop

I just received this product a few weeks ago, and I am already recommending for families that have kids of different ages. This hoop is so easy to attached to my existing Goalrilla post and it allows my younger boys to play ""Like the big boys"" I can already see many advantages to the portability of this unit and look forward to taking it camping and to travel baseball tournaments with us next Summer!

Perfect

This fit what we needed exactly! We didn't want or have room for full size large in ground system, we didn't want it up all the time, we didn't want a cheap plastic or hoop the kids would grown out of in a year. This Silverback Junior Hoop was PERFECT – perfect size and mounted to a back-deck pole we already had, perfect in that we could take it down when not in use, and absolutely perfect the kids love it and the quality is great. Super easy to install we had it out of the box and playing within 20 min. I highly recommend this hoop.

Best Product On The Market!

This product has been perfect form my 3 year old son! He has out grown the toys and wants to play on the big goals. He's not quite ready to take on the full size goals, but this makes him feel like one of the big kids. He loves it!! It easy to setup and move. For a smaller hoop the break away rim is surprisingly strong. The kids love to dunk on a realistic goal! If you've got smaller children who enjoy basketball, buy this hoop!

Kids are OBSESSED with this hoop

My kids love this hoop! This mount technology allows you to take it anywhere. We love that everything is included - the ball, rim, net, mount, backboard. This is an awesome set. My kids like to set this up everywhere. By the pool, on the playset, under the deck, and at games at their school. It's also fun for the little kids to hoop on the big kids' goal. We love it.

Quality Hoop Replicating the Big Kid Hoop

This is a must-have for the serious basketball family with young players. I purchased the Silverback Junior Basketball Hoop for my grandchildren who cannot yet shoot at a 10' hoop. It is a clear upgrade on the Little Tykes hoop their parents grew up shooting on. The Silverback snugly installs on a pole or post and can be easily removed and folded up for storage or travel to a new venue. The rim height can be easily adjusted and, so long as the pole is solid, the hoop is surprisingly strong. Though recently purchased, it appears able to withstand the dunking that will inevitably happen. I could see older kids adjusting the height on a pole or a piece of driftwood on a beach to have a great time playing ""dunk hoops"". The tight connection replicates an actual hoop's action when the ball is shot off the glass or the rim unlike previous junior hoops offered. This hoop will afford hours of great recreation and skill development for a family or in a PE/recess setting in a gym or outside. The hoop comes with helpful instructions, a ball and a pump. The price of the hoop reflects its solid design and construction and is offered by Escalade, who is a leader in basketball rim production. My only criticism is, for the price, they should include a quality junior ball rather than the cheap rubber model. However, that was easily remedied by a purchase at the sporting goods store. I have coached high school basketball for over 35 years; needless to say, my family is into hoops. I am excited for my young grandchildren to enjoy shooting with proper mechanics on this small hoop before graduating to the large hoop. The Silverback promises to give my grandchildren a more realistic basketball experience than their parents enjoyed. -Dave D

4 Year old wont stop shooting

My four year old loves to play basketball. We bought this when he outgrew a hand me down Little Tykes. So far, so good - he Loves It. I like that I can easily put it in the garage at night since it stores easy with the fold up rim.
