Finally!!

This is a great trash can but…..it took 3 tries to get one that doesn’t rock or is not dented. I noticed that this time it was actually packed a lot better. These are not cheap and I’m glad I finally got a good one. I swore this was our last try!

Exactly what I was looking for

The only manual top push button trash can out there. It's great for the kitchen, very well made, and not finicky. My old one was an automatic trash can that failed. This one is manual and we'll made. Pricey, but worth it.

Great product

Easy to use don't struggle removing the liner. Great size and shape not bulky fits in space really well also easy to open.

The 40L slim can was exactly what we needed. My boyfriend and I joke that it changed our lives after we switched out our old tiny can for this one. It’s truly a great product; especially if you’re looking for something that doesn’t take up too much space.

Love this garbage can bc dislike step and automatic activated ones, Prefer over integrated cabinet trash pull outs, too. Perfect for the end of kitchen island and nice that the top stays open until I want it closed. Even fits a pizza box! Very well designed, thanks Simple Human!

BEAUTIFUL, BUT...

It is so nice for my kitchen, but I cannot have a trash can, being so expensive, that it does not have a soft-closing cover. It has to be closed by hand. If you are cooking, that is annoying. I dont understand why they can't put in the same system they have on thier black SLIM trash can that has a foot pedal and it soft-closes as well as be able to keep he cover open if needed. That is what I have now. I need to replace it because I have a shiny new frige and the black can is not aesthetic. It is beautiful, though. It did arrive with a dent, which is strange because it seemed well packed. Simplehuman had Fedex pick it up on schedule. Good response from the company. thank you.

Simple Human Kitchen Bin

This Simple Human kitchen bin looks good in our small kitchen. It's slim/narrow for smaller spaces but is 40 litres and quite tall so it holds a lot of rubbish. The touch button lid is quiet plus it's easy to open or close. It seems like a very good quality kitchen bin that is well made to last a few years.

Replacement

Had one for a few years and managed to trip over it and broke the touch bar found the price very high to replace have another bin which is why a replacement was purchased as easy to interchange interiors and 2 soap dispensers all great products but pricing now getting out of possible future purchases so sad

This is the perfect wastebasket for our kitchen. Our old wastebasket scratched our cabinet every time it was pushed back too far. This one is perfect

This wasn’t a purchase, it was a replacement. I like it, although it was smaller and not the same type of trascan it was meant to replace. The Simplehuman products I have purchased over the years are so far excellent! The warranty, customer service and replacement process is commendable.

I searched and searched for a narrow stainless steel trashcan with a side opening that was not electronic and found this one. I absolutely love it!

Pleased with the purchase

We purchased two of these about a month ago and they are perfect for our space. I was looking at some of the trash/recycling combos but they all had very small capacity and I was concerned about being able to fit things into them. These are the perfect size, they are well made, and they don't move or slide when they are opened (although I haven't tried using my leg like in the picture). The touch bar is easy to use and leaves the top open which I like. You need to close them with your hand. Fingerprints do accumulate but are easily wiped off. They are also easy to empty and fit regular 13 gallon trash bags.

Very pleased with my purchase of the simple human 40 Liter slim trash container. The item is a beautiful addition to my kitchen. The packaging was superb and delivery most punctual. Pricey but should prove up to the task. I highly recommend and thanks for offering such a quality item.
