love this trash can!

This can is pricey, but so worth it!. I use the larger side for trash & smaller bin for recycles. Everything neat, organized , and contained!

Was delivered with clear damage to the shipping container, which also translated to damage on the trash can - a huge dent in the side. It can probably be fixed with one of those suction cup things for car dents, but I shouldn't need to resort to that. I really wish Wayfair would stop using FedEx to ship my packages.

Great garbage can. Its hard finding duel compartment garbage can that has a bigger garbage side. Perfect fit for smaller kitchens.

Couldn’t be happier with my purchase! I bought the push peddle, stainless steel, dual bin waste basket with slow lid closing and lid lock options when changing the fitted simple human trash bags. Simple human trash bags are also extremely durable and never break! Very happy with this product! Customer service is amazing! Helped me with my warranty claim very easily and SO FAST!! I received my new can, at no cost, in less than 36 hours!! Thank you simplehuman!!!

Fab recycling bin

This is everything I expected and more! Love the 2 compartments and the bags that fit seamlessly.

This seems to be "just what we needed"! We decided to use it as an extra receptacle for our disposables. We put it next to an older simple human trash can and now use the new dual on for recyclables and returnables! I'd give it 5 stars.

We bought this trash can from BB&B when we got married 10 years ago and it has served us well. It was ready for a replacement, and I was excited to find it $50 cheaper from Wayfair. It came quickly and was packaged well. It also came with 2 packets of bags in the correct sizes, which I hadn’t known would be included.

Beautiful, practical and durable

I chose this bin because it is made from stainless steel and it houses two compartments, so my recycling and general waste can be neatly hidden into one bin. Years later this bin looks almost as good as new. There is a tiny rust spot near the hinge, but it is hardly noticeable. Given this bin is heavily used ever day I have been impressed by how good it still looks.

I love my trash can!

This is my second purchase of a Simple Human trash can, and I love their products. They are well-made and aesthetically pleasing. Additionally, their customer service team is top-notch.

Really good, but missed opportunities to be even better!

Overall, this is a great bin. It looks great and keeps its shine well. There are some really well thought out features. For example, there's a part that sticks out at the back of the base, to prevent it from scraping against the wall (which it would otherwise naturally do as pedal bins often move backwards each time you use them).

Good small recycle compartment

Great trashcan with recycling. The recycle bin is a bit small for my use but the whole unit would be too big so makes sense.

Tiniest compartment for trash

I was so excited for this trash can when ordering it, but my hatred for the tiny space for the actual trash has trumped it all. I love the larger space for the recycling but come on! We all need a little more space for the trash. We've only had it for 3 days and I'm already so beyond frustrated with this thing! I've had to take out the little trash just about every day and we only have one little one, I can't imagine a family of 4 or 5. I can't even empty out my vacuum canister without dirt getting everywhere because the canister is bigger than the tiny trash receptacle!

Check ur merch before sending!

The garbage can came with a huge dent on the side of it. Thought you’d check your merchandise before shipping it out. A big pain. I had it shipped for convenience. But instead I had to bring it to Walmart and wait for a refund to go through. Get your act together please. Now I’m not sure if I should order it again for fear it will have something wrong with it.

Disappointing compartments for recycling

The compartments are too small for sorting recycling, trash, and food waste. Not practical for my needs.

Great stainless steel trashcan option

Love this trashcan! Well-built stainless steel design with solid foot lever. Lid closes slowly without slamming. Two sections for recycling and trash. Nice touches like lid slider. Custom bags recommended. Great overall.

Sad but I love this bin!

Sad to be excited over a bin but it is great. No more piles of recycling on the side and struggling to balance it to the bin outside. The two in one bin is great!

Worth the money

I was reluctant to spend this much on a bin, but I am very happy with it. It is great quality, and is shallower than most on the market, which fitted the space better. I am using the smaller side for recycling as I think it's too small to be the main bin. Other stainless steel bins I've had have looked scruffy or rusted quickly, but I'm encouraged by the guarantee!

Perfect Pedal Bin

We are really enjoying our new Pedal Bin. It has two compartments, one for food waste and one for other non-recyclables. Large but not too large.
