Looks great in the picture. It's just hard, ready crackable black plastic, with a super cheap bottle opener.

Bottle opener looks fine, not what I ordered.

I thought I ordered a can Crusher! Not a bottle opener. My husband doesn't drink bottled beer.

Flemsy composite not worth the money , wanting something way more sturdy , feels like cheap plastic

The plate and cap bin are plastic and the bottle opener is metal. It seems plenty sturdy to do the job. It mounts securely although I do wish the cap bin was a bit more secure. It looks nice mounted and ties in well with the rest of my deck construction materials.

I expected metal like the bracing, really disappointed

This "looks" good. But, coming from Simpson Strong-Tie, I expected it to be steel. Just like everything else they sell. I was disappointed.

This looks great and matches the other Simpson Strong Tie accessories but after opening I thought it would be metal and not plastic.

Looks can be Deceiving.

Its made of plastic!!! I was very dissapointed with Simpson Strong Tie! Not strong at all.
