Lovely colour, size and pattern. Really nice design.A tad more difficult to assemble than other flat packs. Heavy and sturdy, except two pieces across the bottom have broken off underneath the drawer and cupboard (after about a year) which can be fixed though.

Great desk!

This desk is really beautiful and solid. We bought it for our teenage daughter. I initially thought she'd want a white desk but she liked something a little more natural and rustic and she chose this from several options I showed her. It is heavy and more substantial than what I expected. I highly recommend. My husband put it together while I was away and he said it was a chore and took a LOT of time, but it looks wonderful. It really is HEAVY, so you might need help maneuvering it, depending on your circumstances. We're very pleased with this and she's thrilled that it looks like something she can use for years to come and it has good storage.

Good basic desk

Yes, it's a basic desk. Wood grain looks good, lots of parts to put together,directions are detailed and takes realistically 4-5 hours to put together. Just have to be very methodical when assembling, lay out the pieces, and have an adult beverage handy.

For the most part it's a very nice desk however the Upper Drawer on the right side and the door on the left side do not fit properly even after adjustment. My assumption is that the holes in the main desk were not drilled where they were supposed to be, they are a smig off. I highly recommend a cordless screwdriver for this project!

The Fit is Off

It was time consuming to assemble it, but that was not the problem. After hours of assembling it, it turned out that the drawers get stuck sliding in and out, all 3 of them. I am very disappointed. Now thinking how I will fix it, but trying to move the parts or by sanding off the top of each drawer. This was my first time assembling a desk of this kind, never again! The desk looks good, which is why I gave it 2 instead of 1 star, but it is not a good desk, too dysfunctional.

Not great

Poor instructions. Parts poorly labeled. Some not labeled. Underneath of the top of the desk delivered damaged. We did not realize unwelcome had spent an hour putting the rest together. It must have been damaged before it was packed because the packing was very secure. Even though it does t show it is still not what we paid for. This is all in the manufacturing.

I was impressed with the fit and appearance of the parts that make up the desk. The parts went together properly and holes for assembly screws were drilled cleanly, and were the correct size. It took me about 8 hrs to put the desk together, but I also glued some of the joints to give it extra measure of rigidity (not part of the instructions), and I cut 2 - 6" dia. holes in the backpanel where my CPU will go to provide cooling (not in the instructions also, but is a must if a CPU will be installed in the cabinet left side). Lots of specialized hardware included but all of it is separated and marked with a part no., so it shouldn't get mixed if you're paying attention to the instructions. The instructions are clear, but PAY ATTENTION to what it says, because it's easy to put the wrong hardware in the wrong holes. Incidentally, if you have an aversion to following instructions for anything; this desk is not for you. But if you can follow instructions, the end result is worth it; the desk is beautiful.

Do not waste your money on this product

There are lot of things that I dislike about this, but first and foremost; How to get damaged parts that I have received in shipping? Need a replacement for Top and few other parts. Don't want to return 100 pound, when I need only 10 pounds replaced. Ordered two for daughters, one came in damaged in Shipping, other had a damages on smaller parts.

Assembly was not too bad. Had it put together in a couple evenings work. No missing hardware or parts. Only issue is the center drawer is very tight to pull out/push in. Took it apart and put back together several times and it still does not move easily. Both drawers on the RH side mover in and out very smooth. The drawer is getting a little better. Looks very nice and all that have seen it think it looks very nice.

Total Junk

We bought this and when it was put together the screws would come out and let the table wobbely. Its not wood but sawdust and who knows what else, my husband got tired of putting more screws to keep it from falling apart, the back was thiner than cardboard it was more like thick paper, horrible product. We scheduled a time for it to be picked up, they didn't show, we didn't get a phone call, a totally wasted day. After two phone calls they finally came the next day. Dont waste your time or money.

If I had seen this built in the store before buying, I would have chosen something else. It's advertised as a 360 degree desk, meaning that it has a finished looked all the way around. However, the back of the cupboard and drawers is that super thin cardboard material. It really doesn't look finished... and probably won't withstand my pets/child. Also, the middle drawer has a VERY sharp edge on the runner where it pulls out. My husband cut his hand while putting it together. He says it's right where you'd grab it to pull out the drawer.

This desk is excellent, incredibly sturdy, and the instructions to build it were very easy to follow. The only suggestion I'd give is that the packaging it's shipped in should be a bit thicker. Ours had a couple of dings in the underside of the top of the desk because it was at the back of the packaging with nothing to cushion it. Nothing worth returning over, but worth noting.

Hard to put together

The item is a two man job. I did have some broken pieces and had to call to get them replaced. Sauder was good about that. It is not very well made. And the edges are very sharp and cut myself a couple times so be careful. It is just not a very good piece of furniture. Would I buy one of this type again? Probably not. I should have taken it back to Home depot like my head was telling me to do, but pride got in the way. It is harder to put together than it states. And I have been putting together products for a very long time. Save your money and your sanity.

My granddaughter loved the desk pictured on line and was thrilled when it came so quickly. It was a bit challenging to put together and it was not the same color as the one we saw on line. It is NOT beige in color, it is Maple. She did decide she wanted to keep it in spite of it not being the color we ordered. Though it was delivered quickly, the deliverer put it in the garage and did not let us know it had been delivered. it was rained on before we found it. Overall, we are pleased with the desk.

The desk is beautiful! Took a while to put together but it wasn’t hard, there was just a lot of pieces. The only downside is the panels that cover the back are thin and flimsy. Wouldn’t be a problem if we put it back against a wall like everyone else but we decided to have it face the room it’s in. And even though the panels are thin the design is still lovey. I get compliments on it all the time. Highly recommend. Especially from Home Depot. Way cheaper here than on other websites.

A solid , beautiful desk,that was surprisingly easy to assemble. Attention to detail is a must however when putting on the legs. Will save you some time later. From opening the box to fully assembled was about 3 hours and I took plenty of breaks. Definitely value for money. Highly recommend.
