The white on this tile is more of a light gray, definitely goes with more muted colors. Do not pair with white the lightest would be a cream but better yet a light gray. These tiles are very thick and of great quality.

Love this pattern! I didn’t end up using it because it was out of my price range. But I’m keeping the box in case I can use it in a smaller space.
