Not As Described

The issue with this piece is that it is not as described. In both the item description and the Q&A section, it is stated that the lantern does not come with a tea light. Not only does it come with a tea light, the tea light is attached and you cannot remove it. This is problematic for two reasons: the tea light does not come with a timer, so you have to turn it on and off every day and the tea light is a very harsh, bright white and it does not flicker at all. Skeleton Crew Lantern

I’m really happy with this purchase. These lanterns are bigger than I expected. They’re fun and made well. It’ll be a great addition to my Halloween decorations. I’ve been wanting these for a while now, so I’m glad I finally got them!

Nicely decorated but clear panes scratched

Although these are plastic, they're well painted and have a lovely pewter look to them. Unfortunately, the integral tealights and "glass" panels let them down. One light didn't work at all, so I had to unscrew the whole lantern to get inside to fix it. The tealight is held in place with some very lightweight black plastic - more like the stuff you'd throw away rather than part of the product. The light given off is bright white rather than a warm glow which is a bit of a shame. However, the real disappointment is the state of the clear panels, all of which are scuffed & scratched to all over. They needed either a protective film or better packing for storage & transit.

I dislike that it was plastic, I thought it was metal. It is still nice, but the price couldn't have been better for plastic.
