Rust after one use! And I hand washed them!

So I put these on my registry and received these as a wedding gift back in Feb. I just opened them since i finally bought my house and I’m able to use them. Baked one time with the loaf pan, used cookie sheet to protect my banana bread from seeping into the corners and then hand washed the loaf pan and set it to dry wile the stove was still hot so it would dry faster. Woke up the next day to make bread and noticed the pan has rust in between the crevices of the folds and drips of rusty water in the inside corners where it seems to hold water inside.. They are beautiful but expensive and definitely do not hold to what the description or manufacturer info or costumer service reply about them being exclusive and made of carbon steel—an alloy of 99% iron and 1% carbon that's nearly indestructible… because well they rust after one use. I’m afraid to use the rest of the collection and so be ware use a liner every time and try and dry this upside down and as best as you can.

Well worth it!!

We have been using this bakeware set for a couple of months now. One of the best sets we have used. Rigid under high heat, amazing non-stick surface and easy to clean.

I bought this Bakeware set as a shower gift for a special young couple in California who registered with Crate & Barrel. I live on Cape Cod. I am 82 so I am not a regular shopper on line. It looked great and they loved it. It was so easy to follow the purchase directions. It was amazing! The followup notifications about its journey to California and its arrival kept me from worrying that it might get lost traveling so far away. The best part was their note to me saying when they bake they will think one me. I will be doing my gift shopping at Crate & Barrel. Thanks, Judy Garvey

Washed before use and it leaked rust!

I’m so, so disappointed. I purchased the 10-piece set in silver, which didn’t have many reviews. I wish I’d looked at the blue 10 or 6-piece set because so many customers have complained about the rust that comes out! Before even using these, I placed them in the dishwasher (because they’re listed as dishwasher safe!) and they came out with orange water leaking from the edges. The metal also smelled awful. These are such a waste of money.
