Bru nice bench for money!

We purchased this bench for our bedroom so I could sit and take care of my legs. Over all the bench is very nice and was easy to assemble. I would have given it 5 stars but 2 of the legs had manufacturing defects. I was able to correct them before assembly but one of legs in back is crooked because it is bottom platform hole n threads were not drilled properly.

You can tell it had been returned and repackaged and a piece was broken off one of the legs. Cushion is a little on the firm side. I would return but too much of a hassle.

Still in service after several years. Perfect for my small entry area (ripped out a closet, opened up the area, and put this bench in place). I still like it.

Perfect edition to our closet. We got his and hers which helps in AM to get ready. Storage is helpful to put away non essentials in the closet.

If you want this for looks and storage for a blanket or two-this is your bench, but do not plan on sitting on it! It is so wobbly no matter what you do to tighten or fix it.

It's a handsome piece,excellent option of lift up comfortable cushion top for feet or books and the inside storage, with a nice wooden bottom to store things, without having to lift the top !

The overall design of the bench is great.  However, there seems to be a consistent issue with the pre-drilled holes for assembly. Was able to assemble fully with some parts cracking as noted by other reviewer’s. The bench seems stable but the integrity overtime is questionable.  Not quite sure what to do at this point. To return or to not return Would it actually be worth the effort  Would I end up with the same issue 

The piece was what we were looking for in our front foyer. However, the lid is a bit warped and does not rest completely closed. Overall, it feels rather cheaply made.

This was the perfect piece to fit into my sons room in our house in florida, that also becomes a guest room. He uses the bottom for his shoes and got guests, I fill the inside with extra towels when we have guests. The grey is perfectly light to match all decors.

Cute bench, smaller than expected. Only two stars because the legs are not constructed properly. The holes drlled for the bolts were not deep enough and you cannot drill them deeper without damaging the metal thread just inside the hole. Replacement legs were also defective, with the metal piece coming out and splitting the wood. Poorly designed.

Very sturdy bench. Works out perfectly in a small nook in my kitchen and allows some additional seating if needed. It is a bit firm so if you are looking for something soft and cushiony this might not be the best fit for you.

Great bench, very firm seat, looks fantastic with the Sharkey Wooden Carpeted 3 Step Pet Stairs at the end of my bed. I thought it would have room for two king pillows underneath but its slightly too small which is a bummer but I love the bench and offers storage for my throws that I'm not using.

*UPDATE* Unfortunately after 6 months the screws are stripped and it’s wobbly and unstable, leaning to either side. We used this as an entryway bench for a 7 and 3 year old, so never had a substantial amount of weight. Complete waste of money. It may look nice but wish I could return this. So disappointed this didn’t even last a year!

Great quality storage bench. Assembly was a little challenging -- the legs, once attached to the lower shelf, did not line-up well with the holes drilled into the bottom of the cushion/storage area. However, with a little brute force, it all fit together and looks great now.

Assembly instructions are not helpful. It is important not to tighten the bolts securing the legs to the lower platform, otherwise it is impossible to align the holes for the seat where the tops of the legs are bolted. Once the seat is attached only then can you tighten all the bolts. One of the fittings for the bolts was loose and readily came out of the drilled hole during assembly. I am not confident that the indicated maximum weight it can bear is reliable. The finish of the wood parts is rather rough at the edges and the varnish/paint has been applied unevenly.

It's perfect! It's a darker brownish color than what's shown so be prepared for that. It's also more firm than I expected which is an extremely pleasant surprise since I was slightly worried it would be too soft. Also, the 4 legs don't exactly match up the holes so some serious pushing/pulling to align them will need to happen. Overall, extremely happy I purchased this one as I LOVE it.

Beautiful piece. Love that is has storage inside the top and a rack on the bottom. Only complaint is that one of the screws for one of the legs wasnt in line so we had to drill a hole for that one. Now its fine. Definitely recommend this piece.
