Serves its purpose. It frees up some space on my desk. Standard Chinese quality - didn't impress me, but wan't bad either. I purchased an open box for $22. It was smashed in one corner with melamine plastic chipping off the particle board. I think a fair retail price new would be $40. I would buy it again for the same price.

This item seemed much pricier than many of the other options on Home Essentials Direct and I was hopeful that it would meet my needs. It's taller than I expected, but it works really well for my needs. I'm going to try to post some pictures here on Home Essentials Direct that give a better idea. I'm 5'8" tall and it puts the monitors exactly at eye level. Definitely gives me a reason to sit up straight! I have 2-21" monitors on it, so had to leave off the bookshelf brackets. Also on the upside, my large cat now can sit on the desk with me and not be blocking my view of the monitors.

Very happy with this shelf. Very sturdy, easy to assemble. Suprisingly light weight. I have an "L" shaped desk that incorporates a corner unit where the keyboard and mouse tray reside. I use the 42" shelf catty-cornered across this corner unit and the length is just right. I am using this as a stand for two 24" monitors, side by side on the shelf. This is part of my 'hack' to make this standard sitting cubicle desk into a standing workspace. Note that if you try this, you may need to further and just the height to reach standing eye level. I am short so this works for me. Also if you are hacking a standing desk solution, don't forget a gel mat to stand on, makes a huge difference in ability to stand for long periods.

My Co-worker uses two computer simultaineously. She needed a heavy-duty desk shelf to heighten the two computer monitors. This product not only helps with her posture but also with her productivity. The design is simple yet attractive. This product allows for organization of your work area. Shelf dividers are adjustable and can be removed easily if desired. We were able to assemble this prodiuct in a manner of minutes.

Just what I needed!

Purchased this desk riser for use as a computer monitor stand for a Walmart desk I have purchased. This will work perfectly for what I need, just wished the desk would finally show up (undamaged - as the first desk was). This item arrived perfect.

Professional, sturdy, and just perfect.

Bought this riser for ergonomic improvement for my screens at work. Purchased two - one for myself, and one for a colleague. It is the only riser I found at its height, with the durability and professional look. Both myself and my coworker are VERY happy, and we got compliments on the new risers from others in the office. i bought this for my dorm room because i knew the desks and the room didn't have any additional shelving. it is very stable and i really recommend it for extra space. the only problem i had was moving it home. the screws and pegs don't really come out one you assemble it, so i had to bring it home whole which was difficult to maneuver. one of the screws ripped out of the shelf incased in plywood from the shelf (it's not fully steel as i found out--there is plywood underneath). but it should still stand up fine once i glue the peg back in. also, those wire stands holding the binders in the picture are removable.

Much heavier duty than expected!

I was concerned that I would get a flimsy shelf that bowed under the weight of monitor and speakers. Instead, the legs are heavy cast metal and the shelf a heavy, matt finish, countertop-like material. Carries a 24" monitor and 2 fifteen pound speakers like it is nothing.
