Great inexpensive light for the hime

I was looking to change out my fluorescent fixture in my kitchen to a LED one and this one seemed like a decent fit. It wasn't as pretty as my original one but I just wanted something simple but brighter and without the need for changing bulbs.

Nice LED ceiling light

Nice LED wraparound ceiling fixture. This fixture is only 34 Watts but has an output of 3600 lumens at a brightness of 4000K! Currently have ours in a basement storage closet and it is a great upgrade from my previous fluorescent fixture. Installation was a breeze just following the instructions. Lights turn on and off instantly without any issues. Compatible with a dimmer but I have not tried that out. LEDs are integrated meaning you can’t replace them…would have to replace whole fixture.

Nice Replacement or New Install

This review is for the four foot 0-10V Dimmable Integrated LED Wraparound Light 3600 Lumens 4000K 120V that can replace your old, outdated fluorescents. 4000K seems to be the way to go nowadays. Fluorescents are more energy efficient than incandescent lights, but LEDs are much more energy efficient than fluorescents. This light comes with everything you need to install it. They recommend two people, but I installed it by myself. See my picture on how I held the fixture in place while I attached it to the ceiling. One thing you will notice if you are replacing a fluorescent fixture is that this fixture is much lighter. I did not utilize the dimmer feature, which meant two less wires to connect.

Nice replacement for old fluorescent fixtures

Overall, the instructions were easy to follow. The light is much lighter than the old fluorescent fixture it replaced. They recommend using 2 people for the installation, but I did it alone. See my picture on how I held the light in place while I installed the screws. As others have mentioned, the lens seems a little flimsy. I had to go back and look at the picture to see how it should look once installed. This is what lowered my rating from 5 to 4 stars.

Nice

This is one of the better designed units I've reviewed. I like the retro style of the unit with a sturdy metal base as well as a frosted lens and it's compact size. ( not as wide as a 4 bulb flouro unit but as bright.) like also it's prepped to be wired with a motion sensor comes with instructions and hook up hardware. The light can be daisy chained old school as there are knock outs in the ends. The only think I love hate is the lens. It is soft and has a funky way of coming out, depress one end and slide it over. When the lens hardens it is going to crack, but if you have to set it on a sloped ceiling the lens won't fall out or off like the pillow type or loop on lip type. it's a mixed blessing.

Very pleased with this product. It's more compact and much brighter than its predecessor [22 yrs old]. It also was delivered two days ahead of schedule which is always a plus.
