Desk arrived very quickly. It came in one box that was over 100 lbs, which was impossible for me to carry up 4 flights of stairs by myself. I had to open it in my garage and take up all the pieces. This desk was a major pain to assemble. It has about 30 pieces of wood and 30 different screws. Needless to say, this took 2 people about 4 hours to assemble. So set aside half a day once you get it. Also the instructions are just pictures so I hope your Ikea skills are good. Some of the pictures are small, for instance, you can't tell which way the drawer hardware goes (leading to rework later). Other than the assembly pain, this desk looks great. There were some small imperfections but none too noticeable.
