Keeps turning off

I bought this sharpener for my ceramic kitchen knives. It sharpens my knives OK. I didn't use it very often, but it started to shut itself off with shorter and shorter running time. I know it was not the battery. It might be caused by some heat protection circuit, Anyway, I can use it anymore.

Very Poor

Dont buy it this product. Will not sharpen the knife blade. Electric motor will shut off before can start.

I bought this on recommendation from Kyocera, but am quite disappointed. I was anxious to put to good use on my dull ceramic knife but found it "bogs" down when pulling the knife through. Perhaps if it used direct current it would be much stronger than with 4 batteries, but I would not recommend very disappointing results

今までステンレス包丁は手で研いでいましたがセラミックは使用できず、いよいよ刃こぼれしてきたので、どちらも使用できる包丁研ぎを探していました。京セラのセラミック包丁を使用していたのでこちらの商品を購入し、届いてすぐに使用してみました。力を入れずに引くだけです。お知らせランプが付いていて、刃が当たってなかったり力を入れると点滅するので、アゴから切先まで均等に研げる感じがします。コンパクトですし使いやすいです。

Easy to use!

Very convenient to sharpen my kitchen knives now. Would have purchased the electric power type. But disappointed it cannot sharpen single-edged knife. Overall, still satisfying.

購入失敗。

電動なので、いいかなぁと思い購入したけど、やり方が下手なのか?刃がガタガタになってしまい。ざらざらになった。三本ともなってしまった。包丁は3万もするもの ガタガタになってしまった。ショック。

京セラの三徳を持っていて、切れ味が悪くなり、購入。他の包丁と2本削ってみた。ランプが消えてはダメなんでしょうが、なかなか難しい。でも、よく切れるようになったので買って良かったです。

こういうものでしょうか?

ネットでいろいろ検討した結果、一番多様性があり、信頼できる京セラ製という事もあり、注文させて頂きました。説明書には刃物を強く押し付けないように指示があります。引いて研ぐときに、モーターが止まりそうに低回転から、止まりそうになります。電池は勿論購入してきたばかりの新品ですが、どうしても駆動自体が頼りない感じがします。そういうものなのでしょうか?出来ればこの件、回答を頂ければありがたいです。

Was very disappointed in this purchase. It is quite hard to use and does not work with the ceramic knife I have. The regular knifes are hard to get good results with.
