Well made shelving. Very satisfied

I was lucky enough to receive a total of 3 shelves and I couldn't be more pleased. I used the 2 smaller shelves together in my baby's room and they look great. They come well packaged and are lightweight enough that anyone can handle them. The shelves come with the needed screws and dry wall anchors. The instructions are clear, easy to follow plus a help phone number is included. It only takes about 5 minutes to install one of these. You will need a drill and a level. Once the screws are secured into the wall, you just pop the shelf onto the screws and you're done. I don't know if all of the shelves have a matte finish, but the grey ones do and it looks elegant. The finish is also smooth and if something spills on it, you can clean it with a damp sponge. The shelf is perfect to display knick-knacks or photos, candles, just about anything you want to show off. The one in my bathroom has candles on it. If you have the room, I would suggest buying more than one and making a real impact on your decor. Less

Modern Coastal Look

InPlace Oversized Picture Ledge Floating ShelfThis oversized floating shelf is fairly heavy and as overview states they are sturdy when “installed properly” using the included hardware. I’d just make sure to anchor to wall studs. They are made of an MDF material and this one measures approximately 23 W x 9 D x 3 H and will hold about 17 pounds, the color is a light shade of grey. There is a nice little lip on the shelf edging making it so your items won’t accidentally fall of and giving it a finished look. Unfortunately I have pics of these installed yet as I’m in the middle of painting the room I will be using them in.

Strong, but also elegant

We remodeled the kids playroom and wanted to display some of their favorite toys. Since it was in a room used almost exclusively by kids, it had to be strong. This shelf is exactly that. It's really strong with a solid, thick steel L-Bracket supporting the back and the bottom. The lip in front is quite substantial and keeps toys from getting bumped off the shelf. The finish is very nice and super hard; it should hold up nicely to the expected hard use. Installation was easy, as the pre-drilled mounting holes are on 16" centers. The unit comes with some dry wall anchors, but for our use, those would not be nearly strong enough. The supplied screws would work in the supplied wall anchors, but for attaching these to the studs, they should have supplied much longer screws. We went with 2-1/2" construction screws. The manufacturer does provide colored covers, so screw color does not matter. Installation really does take only 15 minutes.We're really happy with this as are the kids.
