Product Arrived Damanaged

One of the boards were damaged upon receipt so I am returning and not assembling. It's a bit of a pain to return because it is bulky and a bit heavy. I will be ordering another one in hopes of it arriving undamaged so I can assemble and provide a proper review. It seems like it should be a decent product if all parts arrive and none are damaged. Fingers crossed.

Packaging of product

Recieved Closetmaid Cubeicals. When i started to unpack the package found 3 shevles chip in the corners. i needed to paint the chips with white paint. Did not return, because of the hassle of repacking it in a different box.

Nice, but wish all edges were finished. Easy to assemble. Good instructions.

Good Value

Was simple to put together and very sturdy. Just wished they would have used lock screws so they would have been hidden. I don't care for all the screw caps showing.

Sturdy cubes

Good quality, sturdy. Assembly not too bad. The dowels gave me a little trouble but not the furnitures fault.

Fine for some applications, not so good for others

Start with remembering you are paying very little money for a piece of furniture, so temper your expectations. I am using the product inside a walk-in closet, so appearance is not a top issue for me - I was looking for functionality, which it does provide. Assembly was relatively easy and straightforward. If you make a mistake, it can probably be corrected by disassembly and re-assembly. Side walls are very narrow, making assembly challenging in terms of keeping, tacks/nails from breaking through the side walls. The back pieces, which covers only 50% of the cubes, are very simple pieces of lightweight cardboard. They provides unit shape stability, and are not a "back wall" for items being stuffed into the cube areas. Again it is a functional storage device, not fine furniture. Buy it and use it as such, and you will likely be happy with your purchase.

Cheap, could get better quality somewhere else for the price. Open shipment and it was chipped and had chunks missing. Not worth it.

Sturdy Cubed Storage

The cubed storage is sturdy, (although I hammered a dowel too hard and it went through). The price is great, I would definitely buy another because it was very easy to put together!

I got this to send my son in college and he got to my house and put it together and I’m hung up using it here. I love it and then the storage boxes just makes it so handy and organized.

Good value for the price. Exactly as advertised. Sturdy construction. Pretty gray color. Delivered within 2 business days. Give yourself some uninterrupted time to assemble if you don't do this kind of thing very often. It was a little confusing and took some time, but I could do it again in half the time.

It is the perfect size for my office. The previous shelf i had fell apart not even after a year. Hopefully, this will last, and it did come damaged, but i was able to hide it and put it toward the bottom.
