Perfect for my small office

over $50 for a dollar store product

First, the description states you can organize file folders. This is not accurate as there is only enough space to hold 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper. I was specifically looking for one that would fit my loose files. I hoped I could make it work for another purpose, but it was made so flimsy that I just can't justify spending over $50 for it. I feel I could find something comparable in the dollar store. However, not checking the return policy, I am unable to return it because I held onto it too long. That is disappointing, so I wanted to at least advise others' against purchasing this product.

note width before buying

These are definitely classy looking. A few downsides, though. They are EXACTLY the width of a standard piece of paper. NOTHING wider can fit in there. I have to really push to even get my clipboard in. My At-a-Glance calendar, which is just slightly wider than a piece of paper, will NOT fit. The other downside is that the shelves are held together by rods that do not clip together - they just sit on top of each other. So - you can't pick it up all together like the other shelving units I have. If you are fine with these things, then this is really not a bad shelf.

Not worth the price - very small and flimsy

Does not work well for a desk sorter or file separator. I will be returning this as soon as I can.

Bad support design

These trays would be great if the supports that each tray sides on at all four corners of each tray were not made of cheap plastic. They break easily. Thankful, my brother was able to design and make me metal supports so I could still use the trays. Why would this company make steel trays and then put plastic supports to stack them on? Very bad design. I would have given these five stars if not for this fact.

Love this tray! It's light-weight but sturdy. Very practical size. I have other Safco products and each item has proven durable.

Plastic Connectors

When I had my office painted the painter broke the plastic connectors to my trays. Can't find replacement connectors. Too expensive to buy new trays to get the connectors.

Great trays but not for stacking

These are great trays, very sleek and stylish. Unfortunately, I bought the stackable kind, and so far three of the connecting pegs have broken. When I look for replacement pegs, I cannot find them on the website. I will have to call customer service and hope for the best.
