Just what I was looking for!

Easy install and good light coverage. I bought this one because the previous had a push button on/off switch, which kept getting stuck after a couple of years. This one is a toggle, which historically, I've had better luck with.

Easier to install LED lamp with good brightness.

The light is sufficiently bright to light a closet's interior so I expect it would illuminate a countertop well. The captive screws makes mounting easier. The light comes with all the accessories, in sufficient quantity, to meet most needs. We will have to see if the light exceeds its 5 year usable life warranty.

Perfect for a work area

This is a great light to install under a cabinet and in series with other lights. Using magnetic tape as a holder allows flexibility with placement under a cabinet in a work shop.

Not exactly what I expected.

Overall this is a very good product. Light level is what I wanted and it was easy to install. Had to take off points since I thought the connections were omnidirectional and I didn't find out that they weren't until after I finished installing the two I bought and went to plug in the power cord to the light bar I had planned to use for that purpose. Fortunately the cord was long enough to reach the outlet when I plugged it into the other end. Was mildly disappointed that the system wasn't daisy-chained in operation, but I had pretty much expected that, so it wasn't a major issue. Screws provided are probably just right for mounting under a set of cabinets, however I was mounting it on the wall in sheetrock so I used a longer screw that had the same size head. Other than the electrical connections I am very happy with this purchase.

Just right

I bought this for over my stove. The opening is 40" wide between the cabinets. I bought the 24" wide version of this bar and it was so bright I couldn't look at the stove. The 18" was better but still too bright. This one is just what you need to light up the area and not go blind.

After a year and a half, low setting does not work

Bought this 16 months ago and was thrilled with the low/high settings. Now the low setting is the same brightness level as "high" and does not dim to low anymore!
