I am a gardener for the past thirty years and I almost never buy plastic pots anymore. Sure they are convenient, but if you really want your plants to thrive, terracota or plain clay pots are the best to go with. They allow the pot to absorb the water and so the plant gets moisture for longer periods without getting flooded. And because it is a natural material it allows the roots to breathe. These pots are a little expensive compared to Home Depot. But this is good quality terracota. The slanted shape is very attractive especially if you want to grow herbs to catch sunlight for a longer part of the day.
