Excellent

I was skeptical when I opened this and discovered it's made of plastic foam. However it is super sturdy. It's tall, which is great for my little shorty. He is much more relaxed on car rides now that he can actually see out the windows and stick his head out the window sometimes. I've had this for a year now. And it's in excellent condition still. I am considering buying a second one for our other car. For reference, my boy is a 15lb in-betweenie dachshund.

Great Product!!!!

The ease of installing it was great. My little Pom was so scared to ride in the truck. If you put him on the seat he would just freeze and not move one single bit. This was the perfect answer to the problem. He loves going for car rides now. It makes me feel a lot better knowing that he is secure and safe. I would highly recommend this car seat. One of the best investments that I have made for my little fur baby.

Amazing Car Booster Seats!

We purchased the large Seats many years ago and love them! the covers zip off and can be machine washed and line dried. Recently an adopter needed 2 seats on short notice, and we had traded cars and wanted the beige seats. ordered on Chewy and they arrived ASAP. The adopter loves the seats too. I have no idea how many of these seats we have recommended and sold to others - our Facebook Profile picture has our two Bostons sitting in these seats. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

So wonderful for our two chihuahuas.

I feel so much better having our two chihuahuas in a carseat. The two tethers work wonderful. I shorten them to their shortest to prevent our two dogs from being able to get too far forward in the carseat. I recommend using harnesses and not collars to attach to. This kept them very secure in the carseat. It's very plush and well made. I did need to add the foam piece in around the outside of the carseat when it arrived. Otherwise, it was all put together. The instructions are in the bottom of the carseat under the cushion. I put the blanket around them to keep them a little more secure, since Coco has a tendency to get carsick.

New Model Review

Decided to buy a second seat for our new puppy since the first seat was so successful. Our girls love their car seats and we love them so it was a no brainer, plus it avoided the tantrum they would through for whoever didn’t get the car seat. We were suprised and a little thrown off by the new design. We bough out first car seat at least a year ago and love the design. The new design is okay but compared to the previous one leave me wanting more. The old model is two piece (including the removable seat) and feels sturdier, the new one is 4 pieces (with seat). First note was that the back foam piece was bent from shipping and took a while to regain its shape once assembled. Overall it just feels flimsier and less sturdy compared to our first one. Wish we had known about the change before hand but our girls are also used to this seat as they both have had it now since being puppies.

Great seat, cheap tethers

Overall, I love this seat. It helped my very car nervous dog a ton on our recent long road trip. However, the stitching on the tethers that secures the metal latch which attaches to the seat is TERRIBLE. The stitching ripped out of the first tether within a few months and today the second one's stitching failed. I've only had the seat for 8 months at this point. I'm not sure whether the tethers would be any use in a serious car incident if the stitching falls apart so easily with regular use. Wish these were better because now I'm going to have to look into another option to keep my dog safe in the car.

My cat already loves it!

The seat was easy to assemble and as soon as I set it up my cat knew it was for him and cured right up in it. It’s very soft and seems sturdy and has plenty of room for him to lounge (I ordered the Large size and the cat is ~14 lbs for scale). It only took me a few minutes to assemble and I’m glad that if I need to I can break it down for storage.

A MUST HAVE!!

I am so happy with this seat! Better than that my dog has never been so relaxed in the car! The FIRST time I put her in for a ride she never tried to resist or get out of the seat. If your pet tries to get out the 2 separate tethers with metal clips will keep them in the seat. The instructions say to put it in the backseat but I moved it to the front. It easily attaches by running the seatbelt through the reinforced opening then just buckle them in for safety. The quality is superb, zippers are sturdy, and the fabric inside very plush with a durable canvas type exterior. Upon arrival I installed one semi rigged piece of foam that forms on the sturdy walls. The interior cushion is also very nice and offers a good rise, 6-7 inches, for smaller dogs to see outside. At the time this item was purchased I also bought the CarSafe travel dog harness. The harness is crash tested and pairs exceptionally well with this seat. I cannot say enough about how satisfied I am with my $90 investment in my pets safety!

A bit disappointed, but we'll see.....

I have a K&H bolster bed, that I have liked for many years, so when I needed a Bucket Booster Seat to travel cross country.....I didn't question that the quality of this item would be as good as my previous. I did a lot of research regarding safety, function and comfort and ordered this seat. Delivery was very quick, and I assembled it as instructed in a video put out by K&H. I'm disappointed that the foam back support does not match up flush against the front foam corners as shown in the K&H video. These specific corners were even mentioned in the video regarding the need for them to flush for best results. There is a significant gap at the top corners (right is greater than left)....where the 2 pieces of foam are to meet flush with one another (back to front). I have a feeling it is due to how the back piece was rolled by the manufacturer to fit in their box. I will break the seat down once again, and weigh the foam back piece down with something to try and flatten it out a bit. Hopefully it will then be a bit more flush, lessening the gap. UGH!!! At this price point, I'm disappointed and I wouldn't have expected to have to do this. I almost wish they did not manufacture this as an item that can be broken down...to prevent this issue. For now I can only give it an average review due to this problem. I may have to let Chewy know, but I'll see what I can do. For now I can't recommend this seat unless a customer doesn't mind this type of issue.

Troubling change in product received

I loved my previous K&H booster seat that I ordered less than a year ago. I just received my second booster seat for a new puppy and was extremely disappointed in the changes. I did not receive a fully assembled seat as I had before which required no mechanical skills on my part beyond slipping the seatbelt Through the opening in the bottom. The package just delivered was an unassembled sear with the seat in pieces, including an extremely awkward and difficult to install foam piece that is the foundational back and sidewalls of the seat. It took me all afternoon to figure out how to get the seat together and to struggle with assembly of the large foam piece inside the tightly fitting fabric cover. I thought at one point I was going to probably break or crumble the top edge of the foam as I struggled to fit it in. TheyK&H really cheaped out in shifting their labor costs to the customer rather than to their own assembly and manufacturing of the seat .Had I known what was going to be involved in assembly of this seat, I would never have bought it. Very disappointing change in what was an excellent product.

Snuggly, easy to use, comfy!

Bennett has been very good about being seat belted in and resting on a blanket for most of his young life . However the blanket would move around or fall off the seat. I decided to get one of these seats to try and right away he loved it! I like that it’s super cozy and very firm sided- if I take a corner or have to brake he has the sides to brace against. I think he really likes how cozy it is!

Quality of seat has changed

This is my second time purchasing this particular car seat and unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill. The seat used to have one solid foam frame, but now the foam frame comes in two pieces making it sloppy and it doesn’t hold its shape. I just unboxed the seat two days ago and if I wasn’t in dire need of a seat I would have sent it right back. The seat is complete junk. The fabric that covers the frame seems to still have its integrity, but what good is it if it doesn’t have good bones. Very disappointed!

[Rewarded Review] The best puppy booster seat out there!

My little man was so happy to get his new complimentary booster seat from Influenster in exchange for our honest review! He not only loves it on car rides, but he was so excited that I couldn’t get him out of it before we even made it out of the house with it! It’s incredibly well made, it offers very sturdy support & it’s super cozy and soft. It perks my pup up just enough for him to be able to safely enjoy the view, and that’s what car rides are all about for him! Installation was a breeze , I was able to fit it securely in my car with the seat belt, which of course gives me the peace of mind I’ve been longing for , knowing he’s safely secured and not being slung all over the place. I love that it has a removable/washable liner, so it’s easy to keep it clean. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves it! As you can see In the photo, he just hops right in and settles down comfortably!

Good Car Seat for Small Dog; Puppy Chewed through the Tether

Our 6 month-old puppy appears to be very comfortable in his booster seat. It raises him up enough so that he can see out when riding in the back seat. Unfortunately, our puppy is a chewer, and he chewed through one of the tethers in no time. The tethers are not rugged. I am now ordering a tether that he cannot chew through.

Love Chewy Love K&H Booster Carseat

I love Chewy as everyone is always so nice and you actually speak to someone, you don’t have to go through pushing numbers. Their delivery is unbelievable there and no words except FAST. I’m replacing our K&H Booster Carseat with a small, since my male Chihuahua passed away. My little girl doesn’t need the large and she looked lost in it. The seat is fantastic, roomy and safe, I don’t worry about my baby when she’s in there. So when we decided to get a smaller seat I didn’t even have to research I knew I wanted another K&H Booster and I knew where to go for my purchase CHEWY

She LOVES it!

I haven been able to put the new car seat in the car yet because my pup loves the bed so much, she is always in it (and has three other beds in the house). I like that you can take the entire cover off and wash it. The back foam insert was a little distorted, noticed after I assembled the seat but aside from that, it’s a good seat for my 10lb Shih Tzu. Hoping it’s high enough for her to see out the window in the back seat. Shall see.

Perfect comfort

I purchased this car seat 6 years ago for my 20 pound mixed breed. The large size is perfect for him. It fits in the passenger side bucket seat of my 2010 Prius like it was custom made. The cover comes of easily and washes like a dream. I was the outer cover according to directions every four or five months. It really doesn't get that dirty. The inside cushion is a different story. It has a removable zip off cover and it gets washed every month at least. After all this time it is still in perfect condition. The fabric has shown no signs of wear and is still fuzzy and soft. The foam cushion is still in great shape, cushy and comfortable. If you take your dog everywhere with you, you really need this!

Perfect booster seat

This booster seat is very sturdy and our Shih Tzu loves it. Since I bought it he sleeps the entire drive. It’s attached with your seat belt, what was a bit tricky but manageable. Other than that it’s the perfect booster seat for your pet. Our dog has plenty of room in there. The covers are removable for easy washing. Highly recommended it.

Luxury Ride

The bucket booster seat is perfect for my 12 lb Terrier mix. It is very well made, easy to put together, and easy to install. My dog now rides in comfort and is up high where he can see. It helps with not getting dog hair all over the back seat, which is a plus. I am glad I purchased this dog booster seat and it is well worth the money. I went with this brand due to the positive reviews and it didn't disappoint.

My dachshund is about 17 lbs and he fits nicely in the large size with enough room to lay down. The inner cushion is very soft and is removable for ease of washing. The liner zips off and can be throw in into the washing machine. I do keep a towel inside the car seat in the rare event of an accident; it will provide absorption. The car seat can be buckled in for security. The strap goes through 2 openings at the back/bottom of the seat. We use a car harness and the safety clip provided with the seat to keep our dog secured. This is a great option to keep your furry friend safe and to keep your car clean. Would highly recommend. Our boy loves this thing and can’t contain his excitement at the words, car ride”!
