I love these files! They keep my tax records and receipts in order to get my taxes done, nice enough to hold up to being rummaged through to find that specific receipt the husband needs to look up, and cheap enough to throw away in seven years. I stick my own tabs in using return labels I print out on the computer. I usually load it until it expands to 7-8 inches and still has room for more!

I buy these every year for our different businesses. The staggering A - Z is easier to read and file. At year's end fold flap over and label the top plus date. The elastic band keeps the folder closed. Businesses have to keep records for 7 years.

Expanding file management

Sturdy and secure

I have used these kinds of folders in the past and wanted something similar for working with bills. I like the flaps, because they help keep the documents secure even when moving the files between staff. These files expand to hold more than I need and are quite sturdy. I have been using them for a number of months and they don't show any wear and tear, so I expect they will last a long time.

I use these every year to hold the principle documents for doing my taxes. It has 12 sections, just enough to hold the different categories of documents (w2 forms, taxes paid, dividends and interest earned, 1099 forms, receipts for tax deductible items, etc.). I print out 12 category labels and paste them over the "month" labels already printed on the tabs. When all done with my taxes I put a printout of the final tax return and backup paperwork (from TurboTax) in the first section and file it away for future reference. (I also paste "year" labels on the outside front, back and top so I can easily find the folder for a given year.)The fold-over top and elastic rope hold it all together nicely. I can quickly look up key numbers if needed in the future and have all the records I need if I ever have an IRS audit. (Not that I want an IRS Audit!). BTW - they are much cheaper if you buy them five at a time.

Purchased this expanding folder file to help keep our monthly bills and payments and a few receipts for better organization. While this folder helps to contain the paperwork the sizing could be larger for each file as the room is limited to each pocket and difficult to retrieve after placed.

This is a great file folder. I get one every year to hold all our receipts, bank & credit card statements, medical & dental stuff and charity receipt for the whole year then bundle them all up in this to stick away for tax purposes. I do have to put a couple extra rubber bands around it just on the safe side but hold a lot of papers.
