Luxury Lookout® II Dog Car Seat with Microsuede
It was very difficult to find a larger booster seat for the car. This was the largest we could find and it just may be big enough for our Whippet when she is grown. Our puppy loves her Luxury Lookout. We thought we should get her used to it before strapping it in the car so left it sitting on the family room floor. She spends loads of time napping in it. It is like her own miniature sofa. She is so comfortable in it that we decided to order a second one so she could use one at home and one in the car.

Perfect! Got this for my back seat for my 20 LB Cockapoo and my 15 LB Puppy who may grow out of this BUT right now it is perfect. They love to see what I'm doing in the front seat and look out the window. I have the smaller version for when I just had one dog. Love these booster car seats. Ideal for the dogs. Thank you!
Fantastic Car/Booster Seat
This is an upgrade from our pug puppy’s 1st car seat to take a road trip from Denver, CO to Southern CA. She slept like a rock and loved looking out the window. So grateful for a wonderful product. I’ve recommended it several times already.
Life saver
I have never reviewed a product, but feel the need today. I believe these 2 car seats saved the lives of my dogs a few weeks ago. I have been using Lookout car seats for about 20 years. I currently have 2 of the size medium Luxury Lookout II micro suede seats for my 2 Jack Russell terriers (15 and 17 pounds each). The seats fit perfectly side by side in my car’s back seat. Day after day, year after year, I have clipped my JRTs’ harnesses to the Lookout seat belt strap. Then the moment came. They were both riding with me in the car when another driver crashed into my back passenger side door. The door even fell off and essentially all that was left between one of my dogs and the outside was the inflated side airbag. Although the car was totaled, both dogs remained sitting securely in their car seats, confused but unharmed. I can’t fathom what would have happened if they weren’t clipped into those seats. I want to shout out to all small dog owners to use them. And if the dogs are too large for the seats, then purchase another system that safely secures them to the seatbelt. Travel safely.

This product was not a good fit for my dog so I did end up returning it to Snoozer. However, the product was shipped quickly and did arrive in extremely good condition. The product looked very nice but I feel the materials were not as high quality or resistant as they needed to be to handle a dog's nails and would wear down more quickly than anticipated with frequent trips. The seat belt secure feature is convenient, but overall if in a significant accident, I don't have confidence that the seat would remain secure. The lead for the harness is very short which is nice because it does keep your pet contained to the car seat, but if you have a medium-sized dog it greatly restricts their movement. The storage tray was ample with space and sturdy built into the seat. Overall, the product is nice but I strongly feel that this product is not worth the $225 price tag.

I bought a buckskin and a sapphire lookout for each car. Just drove from St Louis to Orlando with my 8 lb. Morkie. She lives it. Can sit, stand, or lie down and still see out the windows. My cousin in Pensacola just got 2 for her Boston Terriers after seeing Molly's. Then my cousin in The Villages, FL got 2 for his 2 poodles after seeing Molly's. The quality and safety are great. Make sure to get the luxury at least because it includes a separate cushion.
Great car seat for 2 small dogs
Bought this car seat by recommendation from a friend. This car seat is nice and sturdy, plush and big enough for 2 18 lb mini dachshunds. There is ample room if you don't use the seat cushion for 2 smaller type dogs and puts them at level to be able to look out the window.

Our 4 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy struggled with car rides. We tried crates, carriers, laps... nothing was working. I happened upon the Snoozer Luxury Lookout II car seat and we thought we would give it a whirl. We haven't looked back! Morgan runs to the car now, jumps into the opened door and climbs up into his Lookout, tail wagging the entire way. He enjoys watching the scenery and the people and everything in between up there. I enjoy knowing he is comfortable and safe. We are extremely pleased with the forward progress he has made since we got this. We take car rides daily now.
Fit in car well, terrified dog
The car seat itself is nice- well made, easy to install, secure when buckled into the back seat. Unfortunately, my poor pup was terrified to sit up so high in the window. She was secure and safe, proven when, despite her best efforts, she failed to escape the car seat. Instead, she was securely held in place, shaking and crying until she was freed at our destination. We tried to ease her into it over the next few days, but the poor thing just wasn't able to adjust.
Not worth the price
Have had this seat for several years now but during the summer months when it’s super hot in Texas, we have to move it to the middle backseat. This way, the AC vent blows directly on my dog. It’s never really fit securely in the backseat but since we’ve moved it to the middle, we’ve noticed it’s much more wobbly. The microsued material slides around on my leather seats. So I’ve had to put a grippy rug pad underneath. The seat itself only attaches by the seatbelt going across the top of the seat so it’s not very secure. My 9 lb dog likes to lean on the sides so there’s not much support to hold him up. It just bends. I’m not sure what happened but one time, the car seat tipped over with him in it. Luckily, he wasn’t hurt and I was able to reach back behind me while driving to upright him and the car seat. Also, the cover is sewn in such a way that it’s bunchy in some corners. So it doesn’t look crisp and clean no matter how you adjust it when putting the cover back on. Not real happy with this car seat especially for the price. Will be looking elsewhere for a different car seat, perhaps the k&h one.

I bought a medium Lookout 2 seat for my year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The size seems to fit her well, she can't stretch out completely but she usually curls up when she sleeps anyways. The pillow is really soft, my dog jumped up on it after I unboxed it. She laid down and didn't want to get up out of the seat. She fits well sitting, standing and laying in the seat. I'm glad that I bought the medium as it is perfect for her size. I almost bought the large but realized it was going to take up a lot of seat room in the back seat of my truck. Customer service was great, I got ahold of them before they shipped the large out to easily change it to a medium. Snoozer quickly refunded the difference from the large to the medium. My Cav really likes the seat and looks out the window a lot. If your on the fence about buying this, I highly recommend this product so far!

We were introduced to your awesome products, several years ago, and our precious little Chihuahua-Corgi loved her
Bad design for my dog
I have a medium size Aussie. He has been in the K&H dog seat, large, since he came to us three years ago, but is not able to lay flat in it. Thought, since we go on some very long trips, that he would be comfortable in one a little bigger so he can stretch out. The length is just right in this car seat BUT there are other issues that are not right for Buddy. He likes to prop his head on the side, can’t do it with this seat because the sides are not sturdy, very floppy. Also, when he sits up, he likes to brace his foot on the side, not with this one. The pillow is a joke. My dog likes something a little more solid when he wants to sit up to look around. The car moves enough so the cushion needs to be sturdy/solid so he is not moving more than he should. I took the pillow off but another problem occurred, every time he moved the underside (I think where the drawer is) makes a loud popping noise, scares him. The seat itself does not sit right in our truck. It moves some so I had to put a rolled up towel under so it would sit straight without wobbling. Buddy has tried this item three times now and is never comfortable, seems very anxious/nervous, something he was never with his K&H seat. Yes, we had to take this out and put his old seat back in, he is happy and secure again. This may be a better seat for little dogs, that don’t lean on the sides, but not a good design for Buddy.
