The color, weight and workmanship are great. However, because it's a solid dark red color, it shows every piece of lint and crumb. I have 3 of these oval rugs on my hardwood floor in my busy kitchen, and when clean they're great.

We loved this 2'x4' oval area rug so much that we bought 2 more for our kitchen. We received one several weeks ago and loved it so much that we purchased two more. It is a wool blend made in USA, easily swept or spot cleaned with soapy water. The braided design makes it heavy enough to stay put and lay flat without a liner. This carpet will not curl. Very nice rug for in front of a door or some other small area. It is small enough to just throw in the washing machine if it get dirty, but not the dryer. We have hard wood floors, so we are always looking for rugs to place in high traffic areas & this one works well in our situation. I do like the consistency in the weave & the color goes well with our décor. One issue & this is why it got four stars, you really need a non-slight surface underneath this rug.

I really like this small rug. I placed it in front of my recliner in order to protect the rug underneath from uneven wear and tear. The heathered color blends very well. The old problem I have... and this doesn't related to the quality of the rug at all... is that it's about 30% wool and my kitties love it. LOL! They think it's a kicking toy, and I have to assert that it's MINE!

This is a nice little rug! I placed it in front of one of the easy chairs in the family room. We have slate floors in that room and the little braided rug brought a more "homey" feel to the room. It also has provided a place for our old pup to rest at our feet. It is easy to clean (quick vacuum is all it needs so far, but then we haven't spilled on it!). I hope to get another to add to the other easy chair.

This rug is perfect for inside the front door and inside the back door. It's just the right size and weight. It's thick enough to be sturdy but thin enough so I don't trip over it. I also paired it with some heavy duty non-slip padding so it doesn't go anywhere. The color is as shown on the website, a nice chocolate brown. It's also finished on both sides so if one side gets ugly looking, the rug can just be flipped over.

This turned out to be a nice entryway rug that we keep just inside our front door for that last bit of 'stuff' that tracks inside. We have a outdoor welcome mat for the bulk of the winter crud, this is just a nice little rug for taking off the shoes. You can see it is nice and thick on the photos below. The weave is not perfect and has a few blemishes. See photos below.

It is made in USA by Colonial Mills. It vacuums and cleans easily. This rug could also be used outdoors as a welcome mat or porch rug. Just rinse off with a hose to clean. See pics below.

This braided rug is of really high quality: tightly wound and stitched, feels and looks substantial. The color is true and exactly what we were looking for. The only negative issue...and one that is addressed in the enclosed information that arrives with the carpet...is that the rug is extremely slippery on tile and wood floors and really needs a non-slip backer to make it safe and functional. The cost might be a touch high but the quality is unmatched.

I recommend this braided area rug by Edward, with one exception. The rug should not be used over hard surfaces if a rug pad has not been installed. The rug will slide on a hardwood floor and would be a fall hazard. Instead, I use this braided area rug at the bottom of my carpeted steps. It works great to protect the carpet at the base of the stairs from high traffic wear. It also provides a sturdy place to wipe the soles of your shoes to ensure that they do not track dirt or grass through other areas of the house. This rug is so soft it's even fine to step barefooted. Finally, the slight shading differences in the dark brown threads make it less obvious to see if the rug is holding any dirt or lint. It's a great way to protect your carpet without needing to vacuum every day.

I'm using mine in a small kitchenette area that gets a lot traffic between appliances and a counter top island. Its just the right size for a small space. I like that its 65% Polypropylene with a mix of 35%wool. This rug has some thickness over all poly or polyester rugs. The pattern is deep with a circular pattern going around the rug. Its easy to clean and the wool adds to its feel than those that are made of all synthetic material. The color is dark crimson and is well done. The weave is tight and the edge stitching is clean. Its reversible that is great extending its life by just flipping it over. This is rug will fit in anyone's home.

We needed a rug for our living room, and this Home Decorators Collection Edward Dark Brown 2 ft. x 3 ft. Braided Area Rug was a great solution! It is 65% Polypropylene/35% Wool, yet feels like wool. I would suggest that you put something on the bottom so it doesn't slide around on tile floors. Our house is tiled, so having a rug that you can take up and clean is very nice. We raise Great Danes, and they love laying on this rug at our feet. It is made in the USA, and is reversible. It goes very nicely with the earth tones of our living room! Thanks Home Depot!

This braided rug is just lovely, also reversible... I examined it closely, was searching for any flaws... I could not find any. It looks like a perfect braided rug. It is 35% wool, also 65% polypropylene, which I read is extremely durable. The light blue/gray color is also not overpowering, neutral... so it could get moved around. I like to try to match or co-ordinate things... neutral colors are great cause they give you more options on where you place them. This rug will make an awesome addition to my home. I have had braided rugs in the past, and they LAST and last... so I look forward to many years of great use. It was a great choice.
