Really nice table!

The unit was well and safely packaged, contents were undamaged and instructions were clear. Very easy, minimal pieces and one person can assemble, with some creativity. An extra nice feature is that the top lift assembly is already put together and attached.

Nice, but how does table top stay down??

I just assembled this. I like it, however, I don't see how the tabletop can be secured in the down position without putting something of enough weight on it to keep it down. I looked back on Overstock and it appears no listed as an item for sale :-(

Love the size of this table. Assembly was easy. Overall very satisfied. Four stars because one hole was not pre-drilled - this did not affect the function. Also the table top does not stay all the way down unless something is sitting on it. That may change with use.

Lift top works smoothly so far. I put three coats of finish on it, was a bit har to do since the individual pieces are heavy (real, solid wood) but was easy to put together once I had that part done.

Very easy to finish and to assemble--only 4 parts and a small bag of connectors. Now it's up and working and feels very solid and sturdy. We're very happy. Shipping came quickly and within the timeframe quoted. GREAT!!

This table is the bomb.com, love it. Easy to put together, we eat from it do computer work from it. I stained the top and painted the bottom white. My son moved and asked if he could take it as he didn't have a dining table. Love him so much I let him take it and will probably get another one!

Great Lift-top Table

Lovely, solid wood, but can be stained or painted any color desired. Pleasing design with strong hinges / springs, and easy open and shut. Really easy to assemble!

We were looking for a solid wood table with a lift top to allow us to eat meals in front of the TV, and this one fit the bill. So far we have left it unfinished, but we do plan to add a protective coating and some brass accents soon. The lift mechanism is mostly smooth but a little tougher with weight on the top.

Nice product for the price.

Set up was easier than expected. Finish is nice, and the table is stable. Fair price.

Well made and solid quality

Sturdy, solid and great quality. Can't wait to finish it and add to our living room. I would definitely buy another piece from this manufacturer and overstock. Still needs another coat of stain, but very happy with this table.

This table is solid wood, elegant in its simple lines, assembly was easy (says a small woman who did it alone!) and the wood took my whitewash stain beautifully. Well worth the price and the effort to refinish.

Couldn't find a lift coffee table I liked so i tried this one. Stained it ebony color and it looks great. Just make sure you sand it well and get any remaining glue off before staining
