I got what I paid for.
It is not very sturdy and because I have cats that jump on everything I will be attaching it to the wall. Two of the legs are 14" apart the other two are 9". I'm keeping it because it will take care of an existing problem but I am going to be on the lookout for something that is much better quality.

Stylish small French style writing desk. Works for small spaces and good value. Blue color really nice.
Too high for average woman!
Cute desk. I purchased to use as nightstand on my “empty” side of my queen size bed and to hold my laptop computer. Be careful if you are under 5’10”. This desk is way too tall to sit at comfortably . It is available on many websites under different names but now I know why they did not reveal desk top height! Too high for most women. Height of writing surface is almost 32”. Too much trouble to send back but not very functional for me at 5’4”

The desk is pretty, but extremely fragile.
This celestine blue writing desk is beautiful, and fits perfectly in my home, after I repaired it. But it is very cheaply made, and weak. It arrived badly damaged. The desktop and legs are made of a solid wood, but all the other parts are made out of something lame: some kind of pressboard or cardboard material. It resembles compressed paper towels, held together with staples (it will not hold a wood screw). I had to spend six hours fixing it with lots of carpenter's glue, clamps, and wooden reinforcements.I don't think that this material is strong enough to survive shipping, so you should expect it to arrive damaged (as many other reviewers have noted). But if you don't mind doing a little carpentry, the final results are very pretty!
