The table is a solid and sturdy, that's for sure (it weighs a ton!). But the quality is really lacking.The slate color doesn't match the pictures at all. Worse, the staining has rubbed off in a lot of places and just looks like a cheap job.The box was heavy damaged and literally held together by tape and nothing more. There's a crack on one of the edges that leads to one of the holes to screw in the legs. Then there's a massive chip that spans about a foot smack down the center of the table top.On the upside it's truly counter height and works as an extension of the kitchen if you don't have an island.That being said, I probably could have sourced a piece of wood and these generic legs and built the table myself - it's lousy to receive something with so much damage. Putting it back in the box is nearly impossible because of the packaging so a smooth return is a pipe dream. Less

Beautiful high top table

The table is beautiful. It has curves on all 4 sides and the stain is perfect. My only complaint is that there are marks from a saw blade along the top from when it was made. They aren't rough to the touch however to my woodworking husband sees them as an eyesore. I see them as character.
