The background is a really shiny silver and the multitude of colors are beautiful. I bought this for my rather big guest bathroom and it is gorgeous.

It is hard to RATE this painting. I read the other reviews prior to buying. They referred to it as shinny. I thought it was painted with metallic paint. The canvas is what is shinny. It does not come across in the pictures. The canvas is more of a silver or foil looking background that has a hint of printed flowers. The picture is painted on top of that. I will be honest. I am having a hard time knowing where to put it. I love the image but wish the canvas was not a shinny silver. It takes away from the image of the birds in the tree. On one hand I want to give this a star because of the tree and birds but the silver background is too much. It was also damaged a little in shipping.

My wife says it is a very beautiful painting wall art. Great size to put in small or bigger fitted area of walls. Go ahead and buy one you will like it.

I really like this artwork. It is unique. I read a lot of reviews where people didn't like the silver foil; but I really like it and it makes the other colors on the canvas pop. I definitely recommend.

This is a beautiful picture, though I did not realize that it had this shiny surface that I'm not too happy with as it changes my decor aesthetic. Other than that it's a nice pic.
