I was very disappointed. They look great, but once installed the easily twisted and would not close properly after.

Mortising was easier than I thought.

I made my mortises on the router table with a 1/2" spiral bit. Fence has 1/8" clearance behind the bit. Bit is 1/4" tall for the first pass, then 23/32" for the knuckles. Fit is perfect with no need to use a chisel. Just be careful marking both boards so the mortises start and stop in line with each other.

Received my order in record time. Parts fit a 100+ year old ant table they has been in my family since new. I was shocked that I could find the exact replacement parts. Thank you!!!

Excellent quality.

Excellent quality and easy installation once I figured out that one of my 3/8” Forster bits was slightly undersized. Using the true 3/8” bit saved considerable time.

Love it. Concealed hinges work well for my small boxes

They work fine, but cutting the recess without a jig is difficult.

Exact duplicates...so amazing!

We could not open this gorgeous 50-year-old Maguire card table to double it’s surface area due to sheared barrel hinge fingers on two of the three hinges. Rockler came through with the perfect replacement hinge and installing them was a snap!

interesting hidden hinge

I like the idea that they are hidden. It was a challenge to get the correct depth and size routed into the edge. They came with a temple but still a bit more challenging than a standard hinge. I used it for a toy chest for my grandson and so far holds up to the test. My only concern is when opening and closing , the hinge gap can vary slightly. The gap may only be a 1/32 difference but enough to be concern on how it will hold up over time. Otherwise very happy.
