Perfect cabinet for our needs, was fairly easy to assemble.

Horrible package, multiple pieces had bits of damage, decided to try it anyway..no directions were sent..after finding them online and trying to figure it out for two hours I finally realized about a quarter of the pre drilled holes were missing.Too much work to get a hole saw and try to make em yourself.Also the laminate over the wood was SO CHEAP and HORRIBBLY made that almost every piece had the laminate curling off already.Bought one off wayfair for same price and it’s a million timesbetter!

Poor quality product. Chips and scratches very easily. Pre - drilled holes are not in proper location. I would spend the extra money and look for soi better quality. You get what you pay for....

Not as well designed as Ikea Furniture, that's for sure. Doors didn't line up correctly, and if your floor isn't perfectly level, there are no levelers on the bottom of the cabinet to get it to level. Overall, I would never again buy this cabinet.

I needed a cabinet for my family room that I could use to hide some computer equipment so the room would not look messy. Yes, I read all the reviews which warned of possible problems but...it looked so much like what I was looking for (especially the price) that I took a chance.

The package is very heavy but arrived UPS without damage. None of the cabinet panels were labeled, leaving me to interpret panels depicted in the no-word instructions by the number panel holes in the images shown. This panel match-up slowed my assembly; think 4 hours not 2. Overall, the panels were acceptable for vinyl veneer on MDF. The instructions are the worst I've ever had to use.

Solid, Good Value for Money

Found this to be a great value. Overall easy to assemble and has a nice appearance. The only problem, not the company's, is that delivery people like to ignore "do not drop" labels. One door was smashed in the corner; South Shore replaced it without any hassle.

Very good. Beautiful, roomy and sturdy. I am using it as storage for additional pantry items. My only issue was with the shipping. The box was opened and two doors were exposed. There are minor scrapes as a result of the shipping/packaging. I'm not sure if the issue was with the packaging or shipping. Otherwise, love the cabinet and a great price for a quality product.

Love our cabinet. Did take 2 of us at different points in putting it together. One of the doors drilled holes were off. Contacted company and they are sending us new door with no issues. Customer service very friendly and helpful.

A great product at a good price

South Shore storage cabinets were ordered from Walmart to aid in storing our kitchen appliances in our new home that had insufficient storage space. We puirchased both the single stand-alone 2-door cabinet and one of the 4-door cabinets; mainly because of their depth. We needed something in the order of 15 to 16 inches. These South Shore cabinets fit the bill perfectly.I must say that the cabinets are very well made and packaged for shipment. Although there were a couple of gouges in the cardbord box upon delivery, the packaging was so well done that there was no impact on the furniture pieces at all.The parts list and assembly instructions are clear (pictorial wise). Some text would have helped the cause. It takes two people to do the assembly. In this regard, I recommend anyone purchasing these to set all the parts aside in a tray to ensure that all are present to complete the job. We did this and it worked well. All that was needed as a philips screw driver and a hammer with a beer to help out. Overall we completed the job for our two cabinets in about 5 hours (as retired people we were certainly not rushed). One thing that the instructions fail to mention, before the back is tacked on with the provided nails, it is imperative to ensure that the cabinets are square. We failed to do that for the 4-door cabinet that we started with and had to pull the back off. We squared it using a carpenter's square and replaced it. This squaring is essential to make the doors line up and look straight (vertically and horizontally).Overall, the cabinets are great, there was no issue with fitting all parts together. I certainly recommend to anyone considering purchase of South Shore storage cabinets to do so. A great product and a good price. Less

I was looking on Amazon to buy from Canadian suppliers. I came across these the bookshelf and closet. I went to South Shore website to compare prices and it was cheaper to buy direct! Better for the store better for me always check before you click! Easy step by step instructions too.
