Tentatively recommend if you need a lightweight container or planter and appreciate the rustic galvanized metal style. It is made of resin which feels like plastic. No recycling marks found anywhere on the planter. Resin stuff tends to last longer outdoors than plastic especially in freezing temperatures. The walls of this container are thinner than expected, and there are scratch marks in the middle along the perimeter of the interior sides. Don't know if there's a reason for the scratches or if it was just a mistake. The exterior wall surfaces of my sample are not scratched. The color finish is silver and coppery brown but not shiny. There is one predrilled hole with an included rubber plug at center bottom. There are 2 template markings also on the bottom and you can drill more drainage holes if needed. Fine for planting annuals or hiding an ugly pot. You could flip it upside down and stack another planter on top of it. Not sure it would offer much protection for shrubs from below freezing temperatures if left outdoors all winter. Might make for a base for a little lightweight side table if you're crafty. Not super high quality but it's okay.

This is really a nice rustic resin square planter and great size. It weighs 4.85 lbs, very lightweight. I originally thought it was real galvanized metal on it but it's not, which I like better. No rusting! Nice size and will look great with a number of different flowers or plants in it. I think putting a taller plant in the middle with lower flowers around it will create a nice decor on my side porch. And it fits in with my rustic type home. You do have to drill holes in the bottom if you want drainage which I prefer. I will want to put something under it where the water will drain out. So now I will try and find a square pot saucer to fit under it that will not take away from the look of the pot.
