Love it

I love Diptych and have many products at home - from candles to perfume. This candle smells wonderful and what I expected. I absolutely love it. I also love the look of it and it goes well with my interiors. Recommended for a classy look and wonderful scent.

Captivating Fig Scent

I absolutely adore the Diptyque Figuier Candle! The fragrance is a perfect blend of fresh figs and green notes, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Generally think Diptyque's candles are good. This figuier is not my personal favourite however. I think I am just the minority as I find fig scent so so....it's quite light and burns evenly, and in the end there is quite a lot of black smoke coming from the candle even though I trim it every time. It s an okay candle but for me it is not a must buy candle.

Scent is so light, not worth $105

I love the Diptyque Figuier fragrance, and the room spray is beautiful. But for $105, this candle is not worth the money. It gives off barely any scent. I live in an apartment and can have this burning for hours and not be able to smell it unless I’m standing right next to it. Expect more for this price range. I loved the fragrance so much I even bought a second candle to see if the first was faulty, but sadly no, there is just no scent to this.

Smells nice but doesn’t last

If you put your nose to the candle it smells lovely, very fig-like! However, once lit you cannot smell the scent. It is not worth the price given the size and the lack of scent when lit! The wick also went a bit strange after burning and curled up on itself. Jar will be easy to fill with other candle to reuse!

Great scent

This is the candle version of their Philosykos perfume (which I love). Great scent and nice packaging. I love the natural, fresh and not overpowering smell of Diptyque products. I got the mini version after purchasing the diffuser, but would consider buying the full size once I run out of candles.

Love this scent

Such a lovely candle. It’s a really nice creamy fig scent that has pretty good projection when lit. The glass container looks so nice to reuse as well. Definitely a splurge but great for a gift or a special occasion. Bought the small size but will be looking to buy the bigger size.

This captures perfectly the summer memory of being under a fig tree. Lasts a long time, and it's a staple at any beside table because the whole package is so beautiful. It's pricey, but if you want a full sensorial experience it's worth it. I can't get the same scent or burn time over any other fig candle.

perfect house warming gift or a wee treat

The Diptyque Figuier candle? Scent? Sublime! But, like many candles, it burned through quickly. Still, that fragrance! A divine blend. I gifted one, and my friend adored it. Despite the swift burn, its captivating aroma makes it a perfect, cherished present.

I read a few reviews about these candles having no scent, so I was hesitant to buy this relatively soft scent in the small size candle. Sure enough, this one had basically no scent. I burned it for two hours and I literally could not smell anything, even standing right next to the candle as it was burning. Regardless, this is a complete waste of money! They really need to rethink their formula on this one.

A firm favourite

I adore this fresh fig flavour and it's a repeat purchase for me. It's a very natural smell - nothing chemically or sugary about it, which is what I like. I'm only knocking a star off because the last couple have tunnelled. This never used to be a problem, so may be an odd batch? In any case, I'd highly recommend.

A previous favourite, but, no more ☹️

I have bought these candles for years but have found the standard much reduced. Despite following all instructions it burns unevenly and wastes much of the wax.

Beautiful hyper realistic smelling candles in a decadent packaging. I kid you not you have to fight your way into the box to take the candles out. The scent is not overwhelming so even if you are sensitive to scented candles and get a headache like me, this won’t disappoint you. I finished mine this summer and am reusing it as a make up brush holder

a classic

You can never go wrong with a Diptyque candle. The design, the scent, the throw, all are always perfect. I wear Philosykos in the summer and while I normally like my home scents and my personal scents to be different, this is just too good not to try, besides the candle and the perfume are always have a slightly different profile with Diptyque. I also wear L'Ombre Dans L'Eau and love the Bais candle.

Figuier is one of Diptyque's staples in their candle collection, but what can I say? Me no likey. This scent, to me, evoked a strong, immediate negative reaction. There is something about the fig tree that simply disagrees with my olfactory senses. That said, it can still be counted on for impressive throw and a scent that goes on for days. I may not like the smell, but Diptyque still makes a quality candle.

Gorgeous candle

I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. It's such a fresh, clean and lively yet warm and floral scent that instantly brightens up any room and makes the perfect gift. It burns well and looks beautiful and stylish in any home. I would definitely recommend if you would like to buy a chic and stylish gift.

The scent throw in these candles is AMAZING! And, on top of that, they have so many different scents! This one I tend to think leans more towards the Philosykos scent… but it is just devine! Sure, they cost a bit more than candles you would find at Target, but you need to remember, it’s QUALITY vs QUANTITY!! I can honestly say that I don’t need to light the candles in order to smell them. I actually just opened this new candle (and thought why not review it), but it is easily smelled just by walking by. When it is lit, you can smell it almost on the entire floor it is on. I want to put a little warning out there… for those who are slightly new with candles, you MUST LET THE FIRST BURN (and pretty much all of them, really) GET THE ENTIRE TOP LAYER MELTED! If not, the candle will tunnel, and you’ll lose a lot of wax that would have otherwise burned. I had ruined several candles that way, and there is really no way back from it. I recommend these candles to everyone I know! They also make great gifts for any occasion! Teachers, friends, mothers, fathers, OLDER kids…. It’s a classic and wonderful gift! I’ve never gotten a complaint!

Subtle scent, doesn't burn well, not worth the $$

As others have said, scent is very light and just adequate for a small enclosed space. Lovely aroma of fig leaves though.

Love this smell

Ahhh the Fig smell from Dyptique is simply fabulous. The perfume. The candle. They have this beautiful sweet yet fresh fig smell. It’s definitely a scent chosen with taste. This candle will leave the room smelling like this scent even when it is not lit. Very chic. Beautiful just as a decoration on your bedside table or anywhere around the home or whichever space you wish to have this.

My favorite

Hands down my favorite Diptyque candle. Smells amazing and not too overpowering. Good for any occasion or time of the year. Woody fig tree. Really warm and inviting scent. I’ve repurchased many times, one of my all time favorite candles. Also works well in smaller spaces like a bedroom. Even burn and hood throw.
