Sturdy construction. Nice size and function. The problem was no keys. Bought the thing for this specific reason. Why I wouldn’t recommend this particular brand.

Lightweight File Cabinet for Classroom Teacher

This is an OK file cabinet. I decided to replace a very old one that I had in my classroom. This cabinet is not as sturdy as the one I replaced by HON, and it is also not as deep. Be aware of the depth before ordering. Things that I really like about this cabinet are the pearl white color, and the top drawer. The white color blends well with my classroom decor and extra storage is always a plus. I also like the height, because it fits under my desk.

Don't Buy - Poor Quality

I have ordered three of these from different stores and EVERY SINGLE ONE HAS ARRIVED DAMAGED. The shipping box has a small dent and the cabinet metal is so flimsy it results in denting and bending to the sides and the drawers. The packaging is not strong enough to protect it from dropping or crushing. This is a complete piece of junk.

Perfect Filing Cabinet!

Wanted something simple for our important documents. This was perfect. Delivered fast, delivered assembled just needed to add the handles but that was a breeze! Perfect size and lightweight but still good quality.

The Perfect Cabinet!

I got this cabinet for my office. The quality of this product is exactly what I was looking for. Drawers slide nice and I love the top small drawer. Highly recommend!

Quality inspection dropped the ball

Arrived with the top 2 drawers being dented. The box was not dented or scratched so it had to have been dented at the factory. Nice work sending dented products Walmart. The file cabinet looks nice and seems sturdy. Just not happy with the dents. Poor quality inspection prior to shipment.

Nice file cabinet for the price.

Philips screwdriver is required to attach the handles. Holes in handles were not drilled and tapped properly - washers were required behind the screws to tighten the handles. Finish is nice (white). No damages noted. Steel is light weight..

Just what I needed

Arrived early in perfect condition. Purchased 2 for a desk base, top drawer is a great addition! Replaced old black file cabinets with the white, changes the whole look of the room. Drawers operate very smoothly. Highly recommend.

Very nice filing cabinet

This cabinet is very nice. It is lightweight so it makes it easy to move when empty of course. There are no wheels or gliding pads on the bottom but that is something easily installed if wanted. The only drawer that locks is the second drawer. The locking mechanism works well but it is not set up to lock all three drawers. Overall, this is a nice unit that looks great and does what its supposed to do.

Great bargain, attractive

Love the sturdiness. The small drawer is perfect for pens and small items. The metal is sturdy. The color is true. Perfect condition. No dents or dings. The file holders are sturdy. Attractive to have in office. I have had this for server almost months and have not come across any issues.

Disappointed

Was bought on line without seeing it. Found the quality of construction very flimsy and although the picture looks commercial grade, it is not. Finish quality is fine. However you can only use 12" for filing although the drawer is 18" in depth. 12" is as far as the drawer comes out and anything beyond this can not be seen or accessed. This should be mentioned in the description as you lose a full 12" of filing between the two drawers! Also the tolerance for the hanging folders is very tight. If anything inside the folder is overlapping it will bump up the hanger or folder or not move.

Nice. Lightweight. Don't open both drawers at once

This file cabinet arrived as shown and described. The top drawer was nice for keeping staplers or extra printer paper or whatever. I ended up returning it because I decided I want to get a more heavy duty file. With files like this that are not very solid and heavy you want to make sure to never open both drawers the same time or it will tip & fall forward. So for safety sake being that I have kids in the house I opted to get something much heavier and sturdier.

it's perfect! i love the color. size is great! it organized all my paper work what's most important. has a small top drawer for all my accessories! plus perfect that it's lockable as well! compared to other's this was the greatest price! its's durable and good quality! I would recommend this item!

Fits my needs perfectly.

I was happy to read the reviews before purchasing this as it confirmed that this particular file cabinet would fit my specific needs. I was not looking for a heavy duty cabinet, just an "overflow" from another which is full. Nice that the only thing which needed to be assembled was putting on the door handles. The prices was great, fast shipping, and it's working great for me. Very pleased.

Nice, cute little filing cabinet with a handy small drawer on top to keep the odds and ends that are the usual answer to the question, "Now where did I put that thing?" This is a lightweight filing cabinet for light use, not a heavy-duty commercial cabinet. I'm using it for files that I need to store at home and don't need to look at very often. I wanted a lightweight cabinet because it is easier for a small person like me to move around. Reviewers who complained about how flimsy this cabinet is probably needed a heavier cabinet that will stand up to frequent use. I did not want a heavy filing cabinet so this one suits me just fine.

Great for normal use

These are light and so they light duty. They do the the job in my home office. Come fully assembled except the handles which were easy to attach. Just need a #1 philips screwdriver. The color is fine. Fits most any color scheme. Like that no racks are required and there is a guide on the bottom to keep things straight. Great buy for the money.Prompt delivery but Fedex Freight just left them on my porch. Did not ring the bell. I paid extra to have them brought in. All the delivery services are doing this now, UPS, FedEx, USPS.

I purchased this file cabinet to use in a room with the Strick and Bolton swing desk in white...the "Pearl White" is just slightly off of bright white but not toward a creamy off-white, instead its got a faint greenish tinge to it (look carefully at the Overstock site photo: it is exactly the color shown). I am very happy with the way the hanging folders fit (I purchased Pendaflex hanging files also from Overstock) and I think the drawer size is just right. I deducted one star because the cabinet frame itself is pretty lightweight, so if you fill the top file drawer full/heavy, the whole thing tips when you open the drawer unless you have equally (or more) heavy items in the lower drawer...so in my case I had to switch what I had planned to store in the top drawer to the bottom drawer and use the top drawer for my files (not a problem, but do think about how you want to use this cabinet and make sure your bottom drawer will have the heavier fill). Arrived in perfect condition and the only assembly was putting on the three handles.

The cabinets are great and work perfectly in my office. I'm so glad I bought them. I bought two and used them as "legs" for my desk top which is a counter top I bought from a local supply store. They look great and function perfectly giving me a large desk at a fraction of the price of purchasing a desk that size that wouldn't have all that storage. I prefer these over the previous 2-drawer cabinets I had because I like the small additional third drawer that gives so much more storage for the little things.

Filing cabinet is bright white. I was skeptical before purchasing but very happy with the color. As for quality, the metal is thin and will dent easily and the paint will probably scuff and scratch easily, but I think for my purposes, it will be just fine. Upon arrival, all I had to do was inbox it and add the hardware. I love the smaller top drawer to store office supplies. The bottom 2 file drawers are ready for letter size hanging files. Note, the third photo shows one of the file drawers open all the way. There's about 4-5 inches in the back that do not open.

3-DRAWER UTILITY FILE CABINET BY OFFICE DESIGNS IN WHITE

This file cabinet was for light-duty file storage in a small home office. The 3rd drawer is small and will be used as a catchall for pens, stapler, staples, stamps, and so on. The two larger drawers will hold plenty of hanging file folders. The gauge of metal is adequate for this small cabinet but I would not consider stacking two, one on top of the other. The white color is more like an off white like egg shell. For the small amount of money we paid, plus having Staples deliver it to my door, I am very pleased with this 3-drawer file cabinet. *Staples' in-store associates were top notch. The associate that answered my questions and assisted by placing the order was both courteous and professional. I have and will recommended Staples to friends and family for home, office and school supplies.
