So the color the review shows is not the color I purchased. I purchased the black velvet version. My husband and I love it. It came with all the pieces, 3 decorative pillows and a bed skirt, which I actually trashed (too feminine for us lol). It’s heavy enough to keep you warm, but the fabric is cool enough on the inside lining to fall asleep comfortably. Great buy!

I didn’t like it all all and it didn’t even put it on the bed. I looked really cheap to me and felt rough and uncomfortable. So disappointing and I’m still on the hunt for the perfect comforter set.

RIVERBROOK MID WEIGHT COMFORTER SET

This bed set is so beautiful. There has to be silver sewn into the fabric, but I have seen no evidence ot it. I have never seen a velvet glow like this before. I started out with Spice, but try as I may, it just didn't go with my room, so I had to exchange it for another color and it's so comfortable. The blanket is a true mid weight. It will be so luxurious to sleep under this winter. The price was amazing, I thought. I would totally recommend. I did deduct a star for the accent pillows just because they are not as firm as I expected, or the quality i wanted. Using the same fabric as the bedspread, they we're too matchy-matchy . But still, nice to have.

Great price on good looking set

I bought this on sale and thought it is a great price for what is included in the set. I had to modify the bed skirt because we have a split King that is adjustable but it turned out well. Wanted a white comforter, this one adds texture and rich looking. It arrived vacuum packed and needed a little air fluff in the dryer. It's not a heavy weighted comforter but is warm and exactly what I wanted.

Now that I’ve had this set for a few months, I can give a honest review. First impression it’s so beautiful and looks luxe but the quality is not there. It feels like a duvet with all the openings sewed close I say this because you can literally feel the separation between the fabric and the filling just like you can with a duvet. I think this would work better for maybe a guest room or somewhere that’s not going to be in use daily. Will be looking for a different comforter IMMEDIATELY.
