Not a good smell.
Have yet to use these placements as they have a very chemical smell. I have them sitting in my garage hoping the smell will fade away. When we get a good hot, sunny day, I'm going to put them out on my deck and hope that will speed things up. Does anyone know a fast way to get rid of the chemical odor? They are really nice placemats and the color complements my kitchen. But I can't imagine eating off them while smelling the chemicals. I'd rate them a 5 if they didn't have the chemical smell.
